I just received my order and read this book immediately. This is a very well written story about a curious ferret. He is silly, smart and ... (you have to find out). Although it is a book for children, it has a very important message for all of us. The illustrations are just wonderful. I strongly recommend this book. I also bought three extra copies for my nieces and nephews.

I have a 5-years old son and a 1-years old daughter who love books. They really enjoy reading Weagol's Big Mess. The uniqueness of the story, its characters, and the colorful drawings are very appealing to my children. The story is well-written and the moral is very appropriate for children. I happened to meet the author and the "star" of the book at a bookstore in Orland Park, IL. My children enjoyed watching the ferret play and Mr. Torres was highly approachable. I recommend this book to any parent who has set high standards for their children!

Weagol's Big Mess.......2007-03-19

This is a great book. It is very colorful and fun! Great reading for children. They learn not to mess up their rooms and care about other's feelings. I met the author a couple weeks ago at a Barnes and Noble in Orland Park, IL. He was very personable and friendly. He even brought Weagol!

A lovely book, with stylish illustrations. While it reflects a bias toward certain warm-blooded, furry pets, statistics show that that higher mammals are more likely to make bad decisions than reptiles or fish, and, moreover, are far more likely to regret those decisions.
