Some peoples kids.......2006-08-20

First and foremost like everyone has stated, this is not punk, its bluegrass. If you dont like bluegrass the chances of you liking this are slim to none. For the guy in Co. get hooked on phonics. that way the next time your at your local record store, you will be able to read the label that the record companies put those things. maybe next time you wont be "stuck" with anything as you put it.

Good songs, well played, spirited and a delightful surprise that made me want to buy more pickin' on music. Highly recommended for bluegrass fans and music fans alike. I like it a lot!

What an awful CD.......2006-01-04

I'm not a big cover fan, and perticularly hate it when stores store this stuff under the name of the band they're covering. I bought this CD for my wife on accident, and now I'm stuck with it because it's been opened. If this band had any talent at all they could write their own songs and not copy other bands that know what they're doing. The sole purpose of these types of CDs (the String Quartet tribute to... is another one) is to trick you into buying them. Beware!

darn tootin'.......2005-07-21

this is one of the best "Pickin' On" CDs. if you are a green day fan, this is a must. my only complaint is that they didn't cover any songs from Insomniac.

A Different Cover Album.......2005-01-11

It seems as though 2004 was the year of the Green Day cover album. Different Shade of Green, Tribute to Green Day, Punk Tribute to Green Day, and now this. However, this album stands out by accomplishing what the others didn't by putting a different spin on the Green Day we all know and love. Now be forwarned, this is not your typical Green Day album. I am one of those crossbreeds who is into both punk and jamband type music. If you like Phish & Green Day then this is definitely for you. If not, you may just want to pick up some Green Day singles with their excellent bonus tracks or a Pinhead Gunpowder CD to get your Green Day fix. I've said before that no one can do Green Day quite like Green Day and this CD doesn't even attempt it. Honeywagon takes Green Day a makes it their own.
