This is a great solo acoustic album for Woo! I listen to it all the time! I love it!

Wendy Woo deserve national exposure.......2005-10-30

She's a fixture on the Denver music scene, both playing clubs and festivals. She's an exceptionally talented singer-songwriter with fine, engaging live performances whether she's solo or with varying configurations of her backing band. Her songs are smart and catchy, and she craft great hooks. She simply deserves national attention. This album's an intimate live solo recording of some of her best songs. Recommended.

This is the real deal. I have all her other CD's, which are all quite good, but I think this live one captures her wonderful voice the best. As a family we listen to Woo all the time! We've seen her live and this CD captures her energy. You won't be disappointed... 5 STARS!!!

Lorraine Hunt Lieberson soars with power, control, and elegance. A voice of beauty and warmth, she is truly... an angel.

Overrated recording, overrated oratorio.......2000-12-13

Let me begin by saying that I'm not a fan of Theodora. I think Handel was at his best with the Messiah, Solomon, Semele, Serse... Here the music is oversimplified and somewhat lifeless. Unfortuantely, this recording makes things worse with its small and dramatically weak chorus. I love Handel's music, but this CD was a disappointment. It's like the Magic Flute, if you let it drag it gets boring, if you put your heart and soul into it, then it comes alive. What I did like about this recording was Hunt's angelic voice.
