UNBELIEVABLE!!!.......2007-05-26

I canNOT stop listening to this album. I never skip a song when listening to this CD; even the single mixes are good!!! I hate new hardcore screams, but the way Ben blends it with singing is just amazing. I actually got a promo copy of the CD alone, then found the retail CD, packaging and all, and picked that up as well. Recommended tracks??? ALL!!!

Sybreed.......2006-04-18

Its about god damn time a group begins to draw influences from the Industrial Metal scene. Sybreed's debut sounds like a mix of Fear Factory, with elements of Meshuggah and Spineshank, impressive! These guys are from Geneva, Switzerland. Formed from the ashes of underground Gothic Metal band Rain. Ben [vocals] and Drop [guitars & programming] are great songwriters that definetly have a well-versed background in Metal as well as Electronic that gets worked in here. Theres even a radio edit for "Decoy" one of the more catchy songs on the record. However, last news i heard was that Alex [drums] had quit, due to musical divergencies while writing the new record. Then i heard that they were recording there new album with Dirk Verbeuren [drums] from Soilwork as a session drummer! I'm sure they won't have much of a problem getting a new drummer working with an icon like that. I really can't wait for these guys next release which is scheduled for late 2006 or early 2007, and see what direction these guys go in. Hopefully they'll tour the states! If you like Fear Factory, In Flames, Meshuggah, or Frontline Assembly check these guys out you will not regret it.

I heard about this band through Amazon.com and decided to pick it up based on what the amazon users said about it. You guys pretty much nailed this group head on. If you like Mnemic, Raunchy, Soilwork, Fear Factory or In Flames, this band is worth a listen. Of the bands mentioned, I think they sound the most like Mnemic.

They have a sound that really has a lot of potential. They are a little rough around the edges but overall they have a good concept. I really can't wait to see what this group does next. With the right producer, they could really make a name for themselves. For now, pick up this CD used like I did for $6.00.

The sound is very original but they need make it better with better production if they get that than they will be big. But this album is very hard to listen to because there is barely any substance just potential to get better.

I've never heard anything like this before! This band is very unique! Sounds like a combination of Meshuggah and Rammstein. Very good stuff. For soundclips of this band go to the link in my title. Those 2 songs convinced me to buy it. I think this should be grouped in with Mnemic in the Future Fusion Metal genre as this is also because it is that different! I loved each song! A metal album you can headbang to and dance to! Never thought that was possible! Definate must buy!

SYBREED sounds like nothing you've ever heard....literally. Unless of course you've heard a hybrid mix of Meshuggah, Nine Inch Nails, Placebo and Fear Factory, all taking place on a sonic landscape that reminds you of the Matrix - complete with visceral screams of human suffering and the never ending madness taking place here on Planet Earth. SYBREED morphed itself into existence in the year 2003. BURN would play the bass and provide the storm and ALEX would command the crushing, relentless hammer on Drums. Truth is stranger than fiction and SYBREED are as much like teenage super heroes as they are musicians. By day, they might be seen eating at McDonald?s or even cavorting with humans, when night falls however, it's another story. Like a Phoenix, SYBREED transcends what we know as "normal" when they unleash their collective power through sound and lyric and literally become young gods on-stage.
