I can't get enough of this song! The moment I heard this song, I knew it was going to be a hit because it just had that feel to it. The beats are great and the vocals are pretty strong. This trio has the potential to be the next TLC or Destiny's Child based on this single alone. They have the right amount of sass, attitude, and confidence that made those groups phenomenal. It is a good blend of pop and hip hop beats. Now that this song is featured in the preview for the Catwoman movie, I get to hear it everyday and I'm not complaining because I just think this is a really good song. I will definitely be checking out their album if this single is any indication of how good Mis-teeq can be. I wish all songs were this good and catchy!

I really love this song. The beats are tight, the vocals are very strong, and the meaning behind it fits the group well. Whenever I hear this song on the radio, I don't hesitate to turn the volume up and blare it through my speakers. This song is already making a name for Mis-teeq, and it has gotten me excited for the album.

Destiny's Child they ain't.......2004-06-30

Mis-Teeq may be an all girl trio with an R&B sound, but they are a far cry from Beyonce, Michelle, and Kelly, the popular trio called Destiny's Child who split to go solo career-wise after multi-platinum records.

Mis-Teeq debuts with a sizzling single, SCANDALOUS, sure to be a top 10 summer hit. Why? The lyrics are fun to sing along with. The beat is incredibly and irresistibly danceable and the words will stick in your mind all day! The girls sound different from past successes like the already mentioned DC, as well as TLC, though I could understand a bit of their influences in Mis-Teeq's music. Each member has her own unique sound. This beat will get you dancing - whenever I'm in the car and the Philly stations play it, which they do quite a bit, I can't suppress the urge to pump up the volume 'till it's blaring.

The bottom line is, these girls are something new and America's music industry needs that - along with an ideal club song!

Single's Hot 2 Def!!!.......2005-09-06

I first heard this song when these group of girls made their U.S. television appearance on Pepsi Smash in the summer of 2004(although their overall performance was okay, the could've spiced it up with background dancers and choreography like the video). But it was after I heard this track again in the Halle Berry flick "Catwoman" that I had to cop it. Although the remixes are tight, the regular version is just as better due to the fact that it has the flavor to get people out of their seats and onto the dancerfloor.
If you don't have this disc, you are missing out.

luke warm remixes of a hot song........2005-04-15

Well, there's really nothing special here. The best version is the sexy original single version. 5 mixes, including, 1) single version 2) blacksmith remix 3) jazzward remix 4) rudeness vocal remix 5) bermudez & griffin stained blue dress mix. Tracks 2&3 are ok R&B/hip hop remixes, still not better than the original. Track 4 is a soulful house mix that just bored me. And if you're looking for a nice hardhouse version that retains the attitude of the original mix, the best you're going to get is Track 5. Hard edged remixes are a dime a dozen these days as the market gets oversaturated and the record companies try to just rush mixes out to the market, and this one is is one of the dozen. It's not bad, but it doesn't take the song to any club peak hour anthem level or anything. The club scene seems to really need a face lift.

I never heard of Misteeq. I saw their video on TRL last year (Scandalous) and thought it was pretty good so I went out and bought the album and I am VERY glad that I did. Im writing this review because Im actually listenning to it again right now.

This Album Is So Scandalous!!.......2005-11-25

Mis-Teeq are so different than other female group that are out right now. But everyone by now heard "Scandalous" (I'm not going to lie it was a hot track last year and still is.) But the other tracks "One Night Stand" and "B With Me" are the only songs that was different on this cd but the rest of the songs were hot. And the girl that rappers in the group she is tight and her flow is off the chain and the two other girls were hot too. This album is good and if you don't have it you should get it! :)

Mis-Teeq Is One Of The Best Female Groups Out There.......2005-06-23

Mis-Teeq landed in the US last year in 2004 and they didn't do quite so well but Scandalous and One Night Stand became big hits in the clubs! The ladies in this group are Sabrina Washington [the amazing lead singer of the group] Alesha Dixon [the best MC and Rapper in the group and she has the higher voice than Sabrina], and Su-Elise Nash [the low pitched voice/choreographer]. Their UK hits are "Why", "All I Want", "One Night Stand", "B With Me", "Roll On/This Is How We Do It", "Scandalous", "Can't Get It Back", and "Style". The album brings back memories of when I entered High School last year, it really got me hype on the first day of High School, after 100X spins Mis-Teeq came to be my favorite female group surpassing TLC. Scandalous was, still is, and forever will be my song it's one of the hottest songs I ever heard and it should've reached Top 20 on the Billboard Charts! The tracklisting is average but they could've added their best songs such as Stamp Reject/Why/This Is How We Do It/Just 4 U/All In One Day/Strawberrez

Scandalous- This song is the jam! It makes you wanna sing along and dance My # 1 Favorite Mis-Teeq song, This song is FLAWLESS! 10/10

One Night Stand- Sounds similar to Scandalous but kinda gets boring after a while, it's still a fun dance track though 7/10

Best Friends- A good message to Mis-Teeq's good friends and fans around the world but it does get boring 7/10

Can't Get It Back (Radio Version)- This is another great song, the other version is better though 8/10

Home Tonight- A GREAT SLOW JAM! I love this song, It's one of those songs you can listen to at night when you're going to sleep or coming home from work 10/10

Roll On- Their is another version titled "Roll On Rischi Rich Bhangra Hop" It's waaaaay better than the Blacksmith one, but overall Roll On is a good song tellin you to get ya party on 10/10

All I Want- A good garage/dance song, It took me a while to like this song but overall it's great 10/10

That's Just Not Me- A reggae song where the ladies talk about that you can't get them in the bed on the first night and who cares about all the stuff you have. Kinda fun and kinda boring 7/10

How Does It Feel- Another one of my favorites, Sabrina's voice sounds good on this song, You can hear Su backing Sabrina up as well and Alesha should've gotten a part on this song! Still it's a good song 9/10

B With Me- Like Roll On, B With Me has a remix which is 10X better! It's more hype and it features a rap by Alesha, this song is great though I LOVE IT! 10/10

Do Me Like That- This sounds like that song "If I Can Go" This song is kinda boring, Alesha gives it some life by rapping 7/10

Dance Your Cares Away- THIS IS THE SONG! It features Alesha and Sabrina rapping on both verses, This is the definite party song! It also gives off a good message too. 10/10

Can't Get It Back (Salaam Mix)- Yes Mis-Teeq stole this from Blaque, but who cares!? They turned this into a hit! This one is better than the Ignorants Version, It has a more dance vibe to it and Alesha's Rap is just amazing! One of my all time favorites 10/10

Overall- 9/10

If you guys get tired of this album, spice it up by adding tracks such as The Roll On And B With Me Remixes, "Style", "This Is How We Do It", "Just 4 U", "All In One Day", and "Strawberrez"

PICK THIS UP IF YOU HAVEN'T! Mis-Teeq is one of the best female groups out there today. You won't be disappointed with this album.

How could you people be so hurtful??? These chicks are bad (in a good way) Scandalous is a scandalous track and does NOT sound anything like Sisqo's Thong Song. There US album is gonna be released on July 13 and I can't Wait to pick it up.

Where did these R&B chicks come from? I think's it's a tougher version of Destiny's Child. Seriously, who REALLY wants three booty-showing ladies who sing with no emotion and horrible lyrics? I prefer saying this record is junk. Except, maybe, one of the tracks named 'Just for you' which has a nice beat and and a nice overrall style. But hey - the rest is just BAD.

Many vocal groups, particularly female ones, have about as much longevity as a reality tv contestant. There are, of course, exceptions. TLC, Destiny's Child, The Supremes, and the fledling women of Blaque continue to carry on, two of the latter groups enduring near break-ups due to departing members. What make Mis-teeq different in many ways is their innovative sound. While it isn't necessarily aimed at the grown up crowd, the harder beats and driving rhythms of their sophmore effort reflect a major growth process. Their self-professed "Urban UK" delivery is unmistakeable in its charm and ability to keep dance floors hot.

While they don't have the vocal range and diversity as say, Destiny's Child, they do know how to create an addictive and pulse pounding sound. The main element that makes 'Eye-Candy' such a pleasure to listen to is its diversity. Upon listening to their first album, Mis-teeq were eagerly awaiting the next wave of parties, but on 'Eye-Candy', Su, Aleesha, and Sabrina opt for funkier, and more sensual material. On the electro/r&b track "Scandalous", Aleesha spits killer rhymes and blazing hooks, while Sabrina and Su-Elise add the seductive r&b edge. On "Can't Get it Back", the girls exude the 'boy be gone' attitude, but do it with lush harmonies and a funky up-tempo groove.

Eclectic grooves are nothing short of amazing on Mis-teeq's sophmore album. "All in One Day" is a laid back, vibe song with thoughtful lyrics and a pristine vocal delivery from the three women. "Strawberrez", a seductive slow jam that evokes the vocal memories of Minnie Ripperton, is a true sign of growth for the girls of Mis-teeq. Of course there is filler, but seldom does it take away from Mis-teeq's charm . "Dance All Your Cares Away" is far too amatuerish for the sophisticated ladies of Mis-teeq. Elsewhere the girls succeed beautifully. "Home Tonight", by far the album's best track, is a true gem. The up-tempo, bumping rhythms combined with Mis-teeq's graceful harmonies and Joe's background vocals make it an award deserving song. It is the perfect example of slow jam.

The ladies close out the album with the blazing track "Just For You". It is what the combo of dance and r&b music should be... HOT! Su-Elise and Aleesha display their ability to flow, while Sabrina kicks it old school style with a school yard chant infused within the track. It too deserves a chance on the airwaves, and if not there, it would keep club goers sweating all night.

Mis-teeq may not posses the best vocal abilities ever seen, but they do posses a unity, and as I said before, charm, that make them undeniable stars. They rival many girl groups that we listen to in the states, and hopefully they will begin their takeover of American airwaves and transcend the r&b borders to find new frontiers for female vocal groups. "Eye-Candy" is a definite must have... FOR ANYONE!

This Is One Of The Best Maxi- Single!!.......2005-02-25

In This cd it has 7 remixes tracks and a bouns track. And when I heard some of the songs I was like "Wow" they did a good job on this cd and their have some of the hottest remixes on this cd too! I love Mis-Teeq lastest single "One Night Stand" (It's tight!!) My favorties are : Single Mix, Mr.Mig Radio, Joe Bermudez & Griffin Boxers Mix, L.E.X. Vocal Club Mix, 6X6 Early Remix, and last but not least... Mr. Mig Extended Club. I wish all records lables would have maxi-singles like this! And this is a fun cd to dance with you and you're friends! And I've give this cd an A+. Holla!! :D

I have to admit that this album. Which is sold as an import. It sounds just right sometimes. But I think this album would be a little on that silly bubble-gum popmusic that most teenagers are into. I think they would need to rethink their next album. Most fans nowadays are matured listeners and want matured music. Don't get me wrong, this album is good, I mean GOOD!!!!! But contains too much kids stuff that is way below Mis-Teeq's true potential. If you wanna dance to some good music than this album is for you. But if your matured and like stuff like Hilary Duff's new single "FLY" or rock/pop/R&B Artists. Then you may need to hear it first, in case you don't like it. But Eye Candy is seriously as it sounds like. Pop candy or in other words, a more POP feel. But anyway put some hands in the air for MIS-TEEQ again!

Danceable tunes with a difference.......2004-06-29

Mis-Teeq has a unique sound that makes them stand out from the rest of the Brit-pop girl groups--a harder edge with just the right amount of dirty. This sound makes the best tracks really move; so much so, you don't even care if the lyrics are silly. The slow songs in the middle are awkward, but it picks up quickly and hits the spot.

Some of the best hip-hop/R&B yet to be released in the U.S........2003-06-04

If hip-hop is truly where the mainstream music market in the States is today, the lovely ladies of MIS-TEEQ are sure to become a member of a pretty exclusive group. Young UK and Irish acts achieving success in the States is rare in this day and age. Only a small handful have been able to break into the American market. MIS-TEEQ, I am confident, are more than capable of escaping the fate of Robbie Williams and WestLife (whom have tried to gain success in the States, but have yet to make a big impression). Not that this has been fair. Both Robbie and WestLife are excellent. If you look at Destiny's Child, MIS-TEEQ is the UK's answer to Beyonce, Kelly, and Michelle. Edgy, sexy hip-hop and R&B, performed by 3 lovely young women with beautiful harmonies. Sound familiar? This alone is reason enough to believe that Americans could truly go for MIS-TEEQ. Out of all the overseas music acts, their music is the most American sounding in nature. The dazzling first single 'Scandelous' sounds like it could be a Destiny's Child song (and, indeed, I can picture the DC girls performing it). It's edgy, sassy, and super sleek. It's already a major hit overseas and, to me, is just waiting to become a hit in the States and Canada as well. 3 Cheers for the MIS-TEEQ girls!
