Smokin' set of songs!.......2007-06-16

I still have the import LP in near mint condition;I made three cassette copies of it over the years and that was the only time the disc has been played.All these years I was hoping they would release it on CD,and it appears The Wounded folks have done themseleves proud. Concerning the new CD version, it is plain smokin'! While I am not sure how much "sweetening" was done in the studio to clean up the live recordings, it is by FAR the best collection of their live work available. BUY this CD if you are a Blackfoot fan...it is essential,and is worth every penny invested. Howay The Lads,Mate!

PLAY THEM BUT FUNNY THEY ARE ALL AS POPULAR AS EVER! WHERE

SONG LIVE IS ONE OF THE TOP TEN LIVE ALBUMS OF ALL TIME.
IT REMINDS ME OF SAXON OR UFO OR MOTORHEAD LIVE. BRILLIANT.

Runs 46 minutes, same as lp version. The sound quality is brillant.

By the way, why does Amazon include a 'NO' in 'was this review helpful to you?'. People are only human and don't like opinions that differ from themselves, thus the 'NO' makes it too easy express such displeasure.

Are they trying to discourage negative reviews, hence not purchase the CD. Such reviews only help a person in not being dissatisfied a product that received positive reviews

This is GREAT but.............2005-03-05

This "Live" Recording is all doctored up. Dont get me wrong. I Love Blackfoot and some of these versions of the songs are better than the studio records. BUT, when listening to Dry County, there are 2 guitars panned left and right with a solo line played after each vocal line during the verses, so unless they had 3 lead guitarists in that performance....5 stars for a great album!

Short and sweet: If you like blistering, buttkicking rock and roll ... in massive doses ... this is the album for you. If "Train, Train" isn't one of the best rock and roll songs ever written, well, I guess it's time to give up on music. This album rocks that's all there is to it. Buy it. Enjoy it. This is rock and roll at it finest.
