It comes as little surprise that John Doe employs three different female vocalists (Kathleen Edwards, Jill Sobule, and Aimee Mann) to assist on A Year in the Wilderness. After all, it was Exene Cervenka's restless harmonies that bolstered Doe's own dusky lead vocals, providing X with a distinctive sound that has seldom been imitated and never bested, even by the group's own alumni. Doe nonetheless continues to refine the formula, delivering sharp, literate lyrics to rugged, often pensive odes. He mines a kinder, gentler, but no less incisive territory of the somewhat precarious space between the sexes. Doe even strums an acoustic guitar in full folk-ballad mode on "A Little More Time," a somber reflection on love lost. Former X guitarist Dave Alvin provides rootsy firepower on the driving "Hotel Ghost," as close as this disc comes to the old L.A. punk days. But Doe's raw approach chafes at the introspective nature of these songs, adding somber, gritty gravity to the uncompromising lyrics of "Unforgiven," "you say I'm good for nothing, so nothing's good enough for me." While the set lacks the blazing nervousness of X's best material, the older/wiser Doe preserves an uneasy sense of youthful alienation that sports a musically grizzled, five-o'clock shadow. These songs resonate with a mature, biting broodiness that updates, but never dilutes, his legendary early work. --Hal Horowitz

Product Description

John Doe is back again. As a founding member of punk monoliths X, he seized his rightful place as one of the most influential musicians in American alternative music in the 1980 s, clearing a path for the revolution in that genre that would take place a decade later. Since launching his solo career in 1990 with the dusty road-poetry of Meet John Doe, John has produced six stunning roots rock albums of frightening honesty and vision. A Year in the Wilderness is no exception.

This time around John has invited his friends and frequent conspirators to help him interpret songs that came fast and hard. Doe dubs the Wilderness sessions, A scary and wondrous process where a blast of intuition and force that takes only moments to realize, but that can last forever and carry consequences you never imagined. Guest stars appearing on A Year in the Wilderness include Dave Alvin, Jill Sobule, Kathleen Edwards, Dan Auerbach (from The Black Keys), Greg Leisz and Aimee Mann.

5 out of 5 stars An Undiscovered American Treasure.......2007-07-21

After being introduced to X in the early 80's, John Doe has never let me down. This album is no exception. He was part of my soundtrack to growing up in LA. Hearing him jam with Dave Alvin on Hotel Ghost really brought me back. Even Kathleen Edwards adds a little Yin to John's Yang the way Exene did back in the day, especially on Lean out yr window. He's as raw as ever. Maybe his words have matured, but his delivery is like it was in '85. I'm actually going to see him next Thursday in NYC and I'm beside myself with anticipation. If you don't' know John Doe, your need to. Although he's been in more movies than I can count, if you are a John Doe fan, you gotta see Roadside Prophets. He's the best.

5 out of 5 stars Just Fabulous.......2007-07-07

Although a long-time fan of X, I'd never bought any of John Doe's solo work before. I read a good review of this album in the LA Times, and thought I'd take a shot.....

I love it. The most commercial cut is "The Golden State", a great tune. I think my favorite song is "Unforgiven", and "Big Moon" seems to haunt my head. The whole album has this vibe that I can't describe, other than to say I find myself wanting to play it almost every day. It has a "deep sound", both musically and lyrically. The songs flow so well that listening is effortless, and leaves you wanting more when the album is finished.

I believe than John Doe is a great creative talent who seems to get better with age. You won't regret buying this release; on the strength of this one, I'm going to buy some of his previous releases!

5 out of 5 stars STOP, BUY THIS NOW!.......2007-07-07

I don't usually write reviews, but I am making an exception for this fantastic album.

BUY IT NOW! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

I've loved John Doe since way back in the X days. I've had the pleasure of enjoying his music for decades. This is by far his best work and collaboration.

A true gem.

5 out of 5 stars Spend Some Time in the Wilderness.......2007-06-28

From the rollicking rhythm of "There's a Hole" to the breathtakingly soft intensity of "Grain of Salt," from the seductive and bluesy "Big Moon" to the "hauntingly" punkish "Hotel Ghost, "A Year in the Wilderness" contains all of the elements that have made John Doe one of America's greatest (although often underappreciated) singer/songwriters: poetic lyrics, vocal intensity, and well-chosen guests.

No one expresses the possibility, the longing and the loss of the landscape of love better than Doe. Like the wilderness, Doe's landscape is striking-- awe-inspiringly beautiful and able to make us feel connected to each other and the world while it resonates with a sense of isolation. This album features some of Doe's best writing to date, yet even when he makes use of a familiar phrase his delivery is transformative. No where is this clearer than in "The Golden State" where Doe uses phrases so familiar they have become clichés and transforms them in to a unique and powerful revelation about the complex nature of relationships through the alchemy of his delivery.

This album is a must have for long time Doe fans and a wonderful introduction to his work for those discovering him for the first time.

5 out of 5 stars Brilliant...(don't tell anyone).......2007-06-17

I've loved having John's solo work all to myself...pop music's best kept secret...music to share with your most musically sophisticated friends...music for long road trips. I suppose that's all over now.

And it's about time.

Because this MF is too big, too smart, too rocking, too cutting, to be denied a wide audience. I would love to see this thing come out of left field and sell 6 million copies, and have John win 5 or 6 Grammy's next February. Not that awards mean anything, but every once in awhile it's nice to see an exceptional artist, at his best, get recognized.

Besides, John has the best hair in rock and roll. "John, see you in Denver (6/22). Yrs. George Tadich Jr."

4 out of 5 stars Echos of Nature: Bringing the Outdoors In.......2007-03-13

Echos of Nature is a very nicely recorded collection of nature sounds with no musical accompaniment and minimal white noise or wind picking up on the mic, as I've noted on other collections. The Songbirds CD, however, was defective or warped and would not play the first track on some CD players. On other players the track skipped and generated hissing and scraping sounds as the disc spun. Fortunately, you can order these CDs separately, which is what I did (and it is now one of my favorites in the collection).

There are a few nature sounds these collections tend to overlook, in my opinion. I'd like a CD with the sound of wind whistling around the eaves or through the trees (with and without a track that includes wind chimes of various kinds). A whale call CD would have been nice also. So, too, would have been the sound of wood burning in a fireplace. Last but not least, a night track with owls and wolves in the far, far distance would have rounded things out nicely. (In fairness, however, these are sounds just about every nature collection fails to include.)

Comparing this set to the 10-CD set I bought elsewhere, the quality of the audio is very good. Nearly everyone will find something to enjoy about this collection. And if you want even more, the same company offers a Rainforest CD collection (though I understand some of the tracks are identical to the shorter tracks offered in this series).

A few years ago, I would not have imagined myself buying anything of this sort. But having done so, I would recommend this to anyone who would like an alternative to music while studying, relaxing, meditating or falling asleep. If you'd like a way to de-stress or a vacation and just can't get there, Echos of Nature will provide a pleasant mini retreat for a very reasonable price.

4 out of 5 stars relaxing and entertaining.......2007-03-10

These 5 CD's can be used to help you relax, or can be used to encourage creativity, or just to give you the feeling that your some place else. The waves could have been more intense, needs more "boom" when the waves crash, but otherwise the CD's are very realistic. And the price is excellent! I would recommend these.

4 out of 5 stars great value.......2007-01-13

I like these 5 CDs very much. The sounds of nature are very relaxing. You get 5 CDs for the price of one. And this is great too.
"Morning birds" is a little dissapointing for me. Compare to others CDs this is not a hole piece but many separated tracks. But overall I would recomend it very highly.

3 out of 5 stars Echoes of Nature.......2005-07-05

I liked the tapes especially the bird sounds that were actual sounds. However, one of the series has canned music. I would prefer all natural sounds.

5 out of 5 stars Above any expectations!.......2004-05-08

... I am in cacoon of sound ... no railroad, no highway is heard... - that was the purpose to buy.
The sound is very natural - not naturalistic like in best computer games - but very real. Transitions from track to track are very mild and smooth - noticable, but no gaps or silence pauses. Very impressive.

5 out of 5 stars if you want nature audio, and only that, this is it... .......2006-12-29

i've been falling asleep to this disc for more than 10 years - can't sleep w/o it -- i've gotten my husband hooked as well, and just bought another to bring with me when i'm on the road!

often, when nature sounds are coupled with music, they become obscured by the instrumentation playing along with it. also, i have found it hard to fall asleep to this 'nature music,' as with repetitive play, i begin to memorize the melodies and become distracted by them. this cd is the perfect remedy -- just bare nature, ideal white noise.

1 out of 5 stars Was looking forward to receiving this..........2002-10-17

but it sounds like running bath water. I too have had exposure to real woods, real rivers - this is not it.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent.......2002-08-25

I don't know how anybody can say this CD is very short - it's 60 minutes long! And how many tracks do you need? It's nature. I think it delivers exactly what is promised: river sounds. If you like the sound of running water, I think you will like this CD. The production quality is excellent. Sometimes running water tends to sound like static when recorded, but not here.

Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Decent Thundershower Sounds.......2007-05-15

I purchased this to desensitize my dog to the sound of thunderstorms. He's not as anxious when a storm materializes, so it must be doing the trick.

5 out of 5 stars Love it.......2007-05-13

This is my wind-down CD. I play this when I am in bed reading a book, and then if my mind is still active, I will play it again as I am falling asleep. It has a wonderful variation of sounds... trickles, rainfall, and thunder-claps. This one is my favorite.

[...]

3 out of 5 stars Loud dripping sounds ruined it for me...............2007-05-06

This thunderstorm CD was just okay - if I had the option, I would give it 2.5 stars instead of 3.
For whatever reason, the author chose to put a continuous dripping noise over the sounds of rain and thunder. I'm talking about the kind of dripping that keeps you up at night, such as from a drippy faucet. And it's not subtle - it's front and center, as if the microphone is right next to the dripping. Apparently, it was an attempt at a "babbling brooke" effect, but it didn't work - it's just annoying. For me, it was distracting and detracted from the sounds of rain and thunder.
Personally, I also don't like the sounds of chirping and squawking birds, etc, on thunderstorm CDs, but I know many people do like that, and perhaps it was sort of the theme of this one, so I can't take points off for that.
If you're just looking for the sounds of just a thunderstorm - ie. the sound of thunder and rain falling on trees and/or pavement, look elsewhere.

4 out of 5 stars Over all this is an effective product for our needs........2007-04-20

My wife bought this album to help her sleep, and it is generally soothing. Some parts however are a little too intense with regard to the thunder. In spots it just booms, to the point that it is jarring. If you are just drifting off or getting into a meditative state, the louder peals of thunder can sometimes be counter-productive.

5 out of 5 stars Surround Sound Thunderstorm...I am thunderstruck.......2007-03-06

This is a surround sound (super audio CD) recording of a real thunderstorm in the wilderness, from its gentle beginning through its full roar to the quiet end. I have several discs of rainstorms...this is by far the very best. The sound quality is so good it scared my dog into running under the bed!

My hubby says that 20 mins into the CD there's a rooster crowing, but I wouldn't know because by that time I'm already fast asleep. Great stuff!

4 out of 5 stars What's in a name?.......2007-02-20

I'm not sure what the band's moniker is referencing, be it the southern city, an ode to Elvis, or a nod to the architectual & design movement of the 80's??? Regardless, the band's second CD is a nice continuation of their gentle sound. It's becoming clearer who contributed what in the band Stars, as the members record solo. Unlike Amy Millan's trip to Southern Appalachia, Torquil Campbell's explorations seems much more authentic. It brings to mind the debut CD by Stars, Nightsongs. Nothing contrived, just simple and pure beauty of mood and vibe. Thank you for continuing the "Soft Revolution".

2 out of 5 stars The Natural Sounds Of The Wilderness.......2007-01-18

not what i expected. more jungle sounds than anything. I wanted rain, crickets, and storms

2 out of 5 stars Too busy for a natural sounding cd.......2006-09-08

When it comes to nature cd's, less is more to my ears. So often, including here it seems, the engineer seems to think that more is more, the more sounds they can fit in the mix, the better. What about non-distrcipt ambient sound from the forest? That seems to me the best and most relaxing part.

The sound of running water is highly unrealistic as well. For my ears, too busy for a natural sounding cd. For the generous price, you might want to come to that conclusion yourself.

4 out of 5 stars The Natural Sounds of the Wilderness.......2006-08-19

Finally. Nature sounds alone. Generally, nature is drowned out by boring "elevator music". Not in this case. The CD's contain actual nature sounds. I find these CD's great to listen to while at work. Very relaxing!

5 out of 5 stars Excellent Set of CDs.......2005-08-09

These nature CDs are a must for those who love them. They lack the usual background music that's so annoyingly prevalent in most nature CDs. The sounds are clear and crisp. There are no "breaks" between the tracks, as one flows easily into the other. This set contains no pops or crackles that are so common in cheaply-produced CDs.

Jungle Talk contains piercing monkey shrieks that aren't very relaxing at bedtime. Play it at the office or while puttering around at home. If you close your eyes you can easily "see" Tarzan, Jane and Cheetah walking hand-in-hand down a jungle path.

The Ocean Waves on the sampler has the best surf sounds I've ever heard on any CD. It sounds more like the night-surf of a lake rather than an ocean. The intensity changes from a giant swell to a distinct and delicate pitter of water on the sand. I'm asleep before the second track begins.

The Bayou is fabulous. If you have the desire, but not the guts to paddle a small boat through a swamp, then this CD is for you. You'll be tempted to dose yourself with mosquito repellant before starting your CD player.

This is a new purchase for me, so I've only briefly listened to the other CDs in this set. So far I'm content to switch between the ones I've mentioned, thus saving the others for another time. From what I've listened to, they are of the same high quality.

This is truly one of those purchases you'll feel good about making.

1 out of 5 stars What is this?? definately NOT "natural sounds"!!.......2003-10-10

That was supposed to be sounds of nature?? I assure all you people who don't get outside much that that's NOT the way it sounds! Some of the sample clips sound like someone shot a computer and recorded the noise it made with clips of bird songs recorded over it. (that and the water sounds like someone recorded the water going down a toilet) Awful, awful. I don't think the people who made these "natural sounds" have ever been outdoors, much less to a rainforest!! If you are looking for CONVINCING nature sounds I recommend you look some where else!

Album Description

Korpiklaani captures the essence of Finnish life and embeds it in their music. Their second album, Voice of Wilderness, brings the listener into the Finnish woodsmen's traditional world. Korpiklaani deliver quality Folk Metal that tells ancient tales and praises beer. The coarse romance of this album turns any peaceful evening before the fireplace into a roaring celebration. Finntroll fans delight!

5 out of 5 stars Very good.......2007-07-25

Thrashy folk metal with pipe and fiddles. Very good. I tend to like thrash, speed metal and power metal and I really enjoy this even though its different than other groups I've heard. The only other fold metal I,ve bought is Skyclad but this sounds heavier to me, but I still like the Skyclad I've heard too.

3 out of 5 stars NOT THEIR BEST.......2007-05-06

I'm a very picky person, unlike some who hand out 5 stars as if they were candy. With that being said, I enjoyed Korpiklaani's latest album "Tales Along this Road" much better than this one, "Voice of Wilderness". I'll explain why.

"Voice of Wilderness" starts off strong with the catchy "Cottages and Saunas" (and I can't help but smile when I hear them try to pronounce "saunas"). But sadly, the next great song, "Spirit of the Forest", doesn't appear until several tracks later. "Beer Beer" almost found its way into my picky music library, but for one problem: "Happy Little Boozer" from their latest album is much better.

The rest of the songs do their job of creating that fireside folksy ambience, but that's about all. I didn't find them all that catchy.

If you like folk metal I also recommend the Estonian folk metal bands Raud-Ants (female fronted) and Metsatoell (male fronted).

5 out of 5 stars Absolutely jaw-dropping........2006-03-29

This is the second review I'm writing for these guys, the first review having been a quick one for Spirit of the Forest, based on my first impressions. On many further listens, I maintain that this music is positively stunning. This album is every bit as perfect as Spirit. I know a lot of people refer to this as some happy - party - drunken type music, and to some extent this is true, but for me this music really touches the nature spirit, it makes me yearn for dark forests and native wisdom like nothing else! It is powerful, emotional, so full of energy, and touches my soul to the core.

Maybe this is just my reaction, I don't know, but for anyone else who feels it, Korpiklaani has 2 other albums under the name Shaman that also have this amazing nature energy, and I recommend them wholeheartedly. Over the few months that I've been listening to them, those 4 albums put together are rapidly becoming my most cherished among *hundreds* of CDs! Straight-up metalheads beware though, the Shaman albums are not that heavy at all, and emphasize the folk part even more - including a lot of really amazing native chanting... of course it's not in English, but this does not matter to me, the music and chanting are Magickal without having to be understood in a literal sense...

4 out of 5 stars Drunken Finnish Folk Metal.......2006-02-01

This album is a celebration of all things good about beer. Just the "mood" of the music, if you will, just seems like you've had a happy few pints under your belt. Also I was quite impressed with the band's innovative combination of instruments: heavy guitars and drums like you'd expect from any metal band, but then there's the pipes, fiddles, jaw-harps, etc., that really lend the music a folkish, tavernish mood. The vocals are pretty good too, they have a raucous, almost drunken and very "manful" mood about them and they're also very clear. None of the Hansi Kursch type screams or death metal growls, just good clear powerful singing. Most of the songs are in English but the last track is in Finnish, sort of a ballad, and I thought it made an especially good addition to the album. Actually I could almost characterize Korpiklaani as a metal version of Dropkick Murphys, just Finnish instead of Irish. All in all pretty awesome, I will probably put it in the CD player next time I decide to have a happy few pints of beer.

5 out of 5 stars Finns rule!!.......2006-01-25

At first I did not like this album as much as their last, but after listening to it over and over, I now consider it equal. It is, as some stated before, a lot heavier and faster and the vocals aren't sung much, they're a lot grittier. The melodies are still here, which is the most important part. I don't think Korpiklaani sound that much like Finntroll, they're a lot more melody oriented and use traditional instrumentation in favor of cheesy sounding keyboards, and they don't have that whole black metal sound going for them. Every song is unique, and full of traditional sounding Finnish folk blended with melodic metal touches. Don't listen to the person who said all the songs are written in the same key, they're not. Korpiklaani are one of the most original and innovative bands around in today's metal scene, and this album is very good. I would recommend this to fans of anything from Frigg to Finntroll, people into medieval music will probably enjoy this also.

5 out of 5 stars This CD takes you away to the wilderness!.......2007-03-28

One of the best New Age recordings ever done. Every track compliments the one before it to create a landscape of beautiful sounds that relax and soothe you to your every muscle and bone!

5 out of 5 stars wonderfully relaxing music.......2002-11-20

This is an amazing collecton of really wonderful music. I bought it to entertain the customers in my coffee shop. After playing it a couple times, I realized that my customers were enjoying the music just as much as I was. What convinced me that I was on the right track was when several customers asked me what was playing and where they could purchase the cd for themselves.
Two tracks, especially, are favorites: David Arkenstone's Yosemite and David Lanz's Madre de la Tierra. On the other hand, there really aren't any tracks that aren't good. This was money well spent, and I would recommend it to anyone.

5 out of 5 stars Leave it in the CD changer because you'll play it a lot.......2001-02-08

I don't know what it is about these Narada collections but they are really addictive. I have the Guitar (1) and the first Narada Decade sets and with this Wilderness set, they never leave the cd player.

The artists are all masters of the genre; I especially like Tingstad and Rumbel, Brewer and Arkenstone, but all of them blend well together and don't "clash" on the cd. The compositions chosen are sometimes the best and here's the funny thing; I found several artists I really like on these cd's and when I purchased their albums, I found I liked THIS cd better. Why? It's the best of the best. If you like New Age composers like John Tesh, you may like this even better.

5 out of 5 stars Must Buy, even with diverse tastes.......2000-07-31

This is a marvelous sounding CD with a great variety of selectinns. I had the CD playing while on the CPU for five hours and then went bck.

David Arkenstone starts the CD with a dawn-breaking view of Yosemite. Following a beautiful rendition of Break of Day by Bernardo Rubaj, the next few tracks also are wonderful sounding, inspiring and relaxing. Fragile Majesty is played gently. One can almost sense the White Water as Doug Cameron moves through it. After daytime comes Early Moon and Firelight. Carol Nathan helps make the early moon, already appealing so much more desirable. David Lanz plays a fine Madre De Le Tierra at track 15. The final track, Lament for Hetch Hetchy performed by Alasdair Fraser ends a magnificient voyage. But, if you are like me the "continuous" play is most likely to be on.

I have not enjoyed many CDs as much as this. There is one more with classical movements that can come close: "The Conifer Sound Naturally." Alas, Amazon doesn't carry The Conifer Sound. Having this Narada CD in your collection or taking it on a long trip makes life even more meaningful. I feel this is the best collection heard on Narada and many other labels. A few copies may be found at steal prices on auction. But, don't quibble.

One last point: No song is less than 3.20 minutes. Sometimes CDs have lots of selections with times ranging from 1.01 to 10.24. The balance of songs and timing in this CD adds to preservation of (he symetry of)the Wilderness.

5 out of 5 stars Timeless..........2000-06-23

It's hard to believe that this album is ten years old (at this writing). It remains a favorite in my collection (I even bought it again when my first copy was stolen). Wonderfully evocative nature-painting music with a new-age twist (although it remains firmly grounded; not too etherial). Particular standouts include "Yosemite" and the moving "Requiem For Hetch Hetchy", which honors John Muir, one of my heroes (I once listened to that one while standing on the Hetch Hetchy Dam itself!). Fact is, there really isn't a weak track in the entire compilation. Definitely an example of the "Narada Sound". If you like this, try their Christmas album!

Fairly "lightweight" music, but enjoyable nonetheless. It will likely become one of your favorites too...

3 out of 5 stars I really wanted to like this better...........2006-01-19

but unfortunately I don't. There are some moments of "coolness," for lack of a better description, disbursed within the songs, but overall it lacks fluidity. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for mixing it up, but it just doesn't work...also, a lot of the songs sound way overproduced, like she was trying too hard. Oh yeah, and one more thing...I love Sophie's voice, but there are some strained moments here and it was like fingernails on a chalkboard - track 11 for one. It starts out beautiful and then halfway through...yikes!

4 out of 5 stars Fresh, unique and wonderful!.......2005-07-02

How do you possibly define Sophie B Hawkins? I don't even think she can define herself. I see a lot of the reviews written referencing Norah Jones, Diana Krahl and classing Sophie B Hawkins as "alternative" when the truth is, you can't really compare her to anyone or catagorize her. Each song has a different feel, style, mood and sound.
From my first listen to Tongues and Tails, I was hooked. I have to agree with another review saying that T&T was a once in a lifetime album. By the time Whaler was released I was yearning for more and in my opinion it didn't disappoint. But then, a few years later, my opinion was not so positive when I learned of the release of Timbre.
Now, after not having heard of the release of Wilderness, I stumbled upon it and had to have it. It's been the best thing I've stumbled upon in a long time. Each track is fresh, new and invigorating. Each song has it's unique style and seems to be a chapter tying together a book. A beautiful piece of art!

5 out of 5 stars Amazing songs...top marks for originality !.......2005-06-11

Wilderness is such a great album! It's diverse in it's sound..unusual even. Songs such as 'Blue' and 'Beautiful Girl' are accessible in a mainstream way without being bland...such is Sophie's originality of course!
It took a few listens before I properly grasped the sounds I was hearing..this album is in a way alternative, yet mainstream. Listen to understand!

5 out of 5 stars Walking on Thin Ice pays off.......2005-02-07

I found this CD in Guam where I live and I was quite shocked to find it here at all. Fact is I have loved Sophie since 'Damn' was released. I've followed her plight with SONY, as I have seen others deal with SONY and their disrepect for artists having their on ideas and concepts.

Sophie was strong in moving away from SONY and not allowing them to control her. There are still many members of "The Cracker Army" who have stuck behind Sophie and her music. Her style has severely changed with her independance, becoming free to make her own decisions and adding over 10 yrs of growth Sophie is moving in a more adult contempory genre and away from the pop that she brought with her mainstream hit "Damn, I Wish.." in the early 90's.

Despite what others may think Sophie is still well loved and respected as an artist. I love this CD in its entirity along with the other releases from Sophie and I am looking forward to seeing more from her to come. My favorite tracks include - Walking on Thin Ice, Adrian, Beautiful Girl and Meet Me On a Rooftop.

For those of you who are looking for the angst from "Damn I Wish" this CD will not be for you. If you are looking for a light-hearted, romantic CD this is just perfect. Sophie has aged well and taken her music with her. It is wonderful to see an artist age gracefully, now in her 40's she may no longer appeal to the youthful teens and early 20-somethings but I am in my 30's and life is not so much at the pace it was when Sophie first come out. We've all grown up and Sophie has done so beautifully and with risks others would never dream of.

Check out this CD is your tired of the bubblegum pop out there today.
