This cd is awesome. It has Brad Corrigan, (Braddigan) playing the pan flute in some songs which I love. This band is so versatile and this cd is amazing for it's clear vocals, instrumentation and lyrics. I love to hear ALL the different versions of each song, and in here there were some great versions that I had never heard before. These guys are great! If you like music, be it rock, raggae, rap or folk, these guys will not disappoint you. Get anything Dispatch, and enjoy!

I love dispatch. From their amazing harmony and vocals to their mad guitar skills, these guys are an awesome band. They are such talented musicians and are just fantastic to listen to. Buy this CD for sure!

My favorite..........2005-01-14

Silent Steeples is probably my favorite CD Dispatch has come out with. Every song is unbelievable. Dispatch has a unique ability to create beautiful harmonies and uplifting moods with the strum of a guitar or a beat of a bongo. It is utterly impossible to listen to Dispatch and not experience a state of euphoria. Please, do yourself a favor and BUY THIS CD!!

I don't understand how you can sit there and not buy this album Dispatch is not well known but they should be. I live for good tunes and good times. I don't think I have ever heard a bad song by this band. If you like jam tunes check it out!

My Favorite From Dispatch.......2005-12-11

Silent Steeples is a great album. Like many others, Bang Bang was my first exposure to Dispatch. I loved it and wanted to hear more from the band, so I picked up Silent Steeples. Boy, am I glad I did. It took me a few listens to get into it. It has a very different sound than Bang Bang. This album is largely accoustic and I hear hand-played drums (bongos, I presume) on many of the tracks.

All of the songs are good. Like everything Dispatch has put out, the harmonies are great. The way the voices blend, especially on "Hey, Hey" is incredible. "Flying Horses" is another favorite, and "Elias" is just gorgeous. Really, though, every song is good. "Water Stop" is excellent. Maybe my favorite of all is "Walk With You", a mostly instrumental song with accoustic guitar and a beautiful flute.

The album has a laid back feel and it's fun to listen to again and again. All the songs are great and it never gets old. Now I even prefer Silent Steeples to Bang Bang, but I enjoy both. The band definitely has a unique sound, but may appeal especially to fans of Guster, Dave Matthews Band, O.A.R., etc. Recommended to anyone who likes Dispatch and doesn't have it, or anyone who likes good accoustic music.

Dispatch is a classic band, and its such a shame they broke up. There music has hints of different kinds, and it is especially a raegae inspired band, but with a different sence and twist on it. Every CD they have it great and fun filled to listen to. I would suggest any and all of them.

I got this CD from my friend on my lacrosse team and all I can say is that it is THE BEST!!! i constantly listened to "steeples" for about a month and I am still not tired of it. "Mayday" is also a great song. I love O.A.R, 311, Moe., Phish, and all of them, but these guys are probably at the top. This CD is so worth the money. It is great for studying to. Go buy it!

Absolutely amazing.......2003-12-22

I have absolutely fallen in love with this CD. I'd never heard of Dispatch before I came to college this year and my roommate played it for me. Two of my other friends were big fans so this CD was almost always playing. It's not like the normal stuff that I listen to, but in a good way. Their songs are fantastic, ranging from funky to beautiful. Rarely do I find a CD where I like every single song, but this is one of them. They even have an instrumental with acoustin guitars and flutes. How many bands do that? This is a band off the beaten track, and it's sad that I became a fan after they broke up. Listen. Buy. Get hooked. It's wonderful music.

Great Cd from a Great band.......2003-07-26

After reading many reviews of Dispatch, I have noticed many people comparing them to DMB. I have been a fan of Dispatch for quite sometime now and personally do not see any resemblence between the two. But that is besides the point. This is one of the greatest cd's the band has put it out. The song Hey,Hey is an excellent example of the vocal and musical talent of this group. Elias is my personal favorite song of their's, this song shows just how talented the group is, it combines elements of new age rock with an almost reagae sound, the background music in itself is very impressive. For a truly unique experience buy this and any other of their cd's. I would also recommend the band member's solo projects which are equally impressive. I would say this is the best group never heard. If you want to get away from the same old boring songs they play on the radio stations and want to experience something new and interesting, check out dispatch today... you wont be dissapointed.
