The galloping rhythms, the blitzkrieg guitar onslaught, the air-raid siren vocals of Bruce Dickinson (and lets not forget the gutter-sniping of original vocalist Paul Dianno or his ahead of its time punk/metal hybrid style.), and last, but definitely not least, the finger-fracturing bass playing of Steve Harris, the song writing savant behind their music. Oh, yeah, and of course, theres Eddie.
Product Description
Digging deeper (careful, not too deep!) it is in the sinewy bass lines of Harris that we find the raw materials for this, our piano tribute to Iron Maiden, for as athletic as his playing is, it is also the melodic core of the bands material, a logical extension of his being the primary songwriter as well as the bass player. Yes, dig if you will, the simple lines intertwining, the distillation of evil spirits, and enjoy these catchy numbers of the beast!

Customer Reviews:
a pretty sad excuse for a maiden tribute.......2006-10-31
A fine reminder of the songs we listened to so many times.......2006-10-22
In a nutshell, it is nothing but piano playing all the instruments (guitar, bass, and vocals) so its not any more complex than writing a midi score on your computer and playing it with that stupid comp synth effect. But the performer is really good and it just thrills me to hear clearly Iron Maiden music in its full complexity, without any guitar distortions, which have that effect to cut on tone's frequencies and make the melodies sound much "drier".
If you listened to these songs a thousand times already (like I did), and kindda got bored of them, but also like to sing along or reminisce a bit, you will love this too.
Now I've heard it ALL.......2006-08-13
I've been a Maiden fan for over 2 decades but this is simply an abomination. Some things just don't sound good together. Steve Harris is a great songwriter. And pianist on this album is obviously talented. But two good ingredients don't necessarily equal a good product.
What's next? John Tesh playing Slayer?
Drummer needed: Apply within.......2006-07-04
The cover art is a crack-up and really attracted me to this. The song selection is also VERY good:) Sadly, all this needed was a drummer or a drum machine to help w/ the timing. If you can find this for $10 it's worth it, if not, pass.
I like it.......2006-01-07
