One wonders what Daredevil the superhero might make of Daredevil: The Album. Given his heightened sense of hearing, the costumed one would probably grab the volume control, since tinnitus-inducing modern rock is the primary fare here. Despite strong new fare from Fuel, Saliva, and Nickelback, the pairing of Drowning Pool with another cartoon character, Rob Zombie, is the clear winner on personality alone. Two cuts from newcomers Evanescence, including the song showcased in the film's trailer ("Bring Me to Life"), also stand out thanks to the dramatic vocals of Amy Lee, who should find favor with Tori Amos fans. Respites from the hard rock action round out the disc: a collaboration between Nappy Roots and P.O.D. guitarist Marcus Curiel is a rap-rock outing that actually satisfies on both levels, Autopilot Off chime in with some peppy emo, and the title theme gets a Chemical Brothers-style big beat overhaul. --Kurt B. The Best Soundtrack Out There.......2006-08-19
1. Fuel-Won't Back Down the title states how good the song is 10/10
2. The Calling- For You perfectly written and sung and the music video is awesome too. 10/10
3. Saliva-Bleed For Me Another great song by Saliva it may bee a little repetitive but it's a great song. 10/10
4. Seether-Hang On I like the song it's not that bad it has a good beat and gets a little slow but I do enjoy Seether 9/10
5. Nickelback-Learn The Hard Way It took me a while to start to like the song because well it wasn't what I was used too for Nickeback it's harder then most of their songs but it's definitely good. 8/10
6. Drowning Pool Featuring Rob Zombie-Man Without Fear Great song, great lyrics, great beat....
10/10
7. Nappy Roots Featuring Marcus Curiel I love this song it's so true the lyrics in it speak volumes although doesn't really apply to the movie since it's mostly rock songs in it but it's a really good song.
10/10
8. Moby-Evening Rain I can definitely understand putting this song in the soundtrack and it's beautifully sung and I'm not even a fan of Moby but the reason is that it needed to be there if you've seen the movie you know why so I give it a 8.5/10
9. Evanescence-Bring Me To Life everyone knows this song it's been on the radio before and it got a little old on the radio but it still is a good song. 8/10
10. Chevelle-Until You're Reformed The second best song on the album it got me started on Chevelle they are a great band the guitar solo in it is awesome. 10/10
11. Hoobastank-Right Before Your Eyes all I can say about this song is that it's great and is a very good song. 10/10
12. Palo Alto-Good song also got there cd after hearing the album which if you like the softer rock is a great band for you.
10/10
13. Revis-Caught In The Rain also another band I got the cd from although they have broken up after one album it is a very good band.10/10
14. Boysetsfire-Highwire Escape Artist good song good lyrics not the strongest on the cd but is still pretty good. 7.5/10
15. Autopilot Off-Raise Your Rifles haven't really listened to the song much it's one I normally skip but since I'm writing a review on the cd I figured I'd listen to it at this time I can only for the opinion of that it's an alright song but shouldnt' really be there. 5/10
16. Daredevil the blind justice remix theme from Daredevil. It's techno so it has a good beat isn't the best but for what it is 6/10
17. Evanescence-My Immortal great song great lyrics beautfiul voice 10/10
18. Finger Eleven-good song doesn't disappoint 8/10
19. Endo-Simple Lies such a good band that I bought two of their cds 10/10
20. 12 Stones-Let Go Another great band bought a cd of theirs as well check them out too.
9/10
