Interesting Listen.......2007-05-21

I wasn't sure what to expect after learning that one-time children's TV star Steve Burns had turned to his guitar to replace his blue-screen buddies... however I was really impressed with his efforts on this album. Some tracks are better than others at demonstrating his maturity as a songwriter, but overall the album is worth having. I'm looking forward to his new release.

This album has an 80's flavor with a kind of Jack Johnson feel to it. But not to forget the skillful rock playing reminiscent of Pearl Jam. Although totally original. Added bonus: the lack of profanity or too much adult content, make it perfictly o.k. to listen to with kiddos in the car.

I happened upon the Songs for Dustmites CD through a friend and instantly fell in love with "What I do on a Saturday". I quickly ordered a copy of the album and was pleasantly surprised at how great each song on this album is. I would totally recommend it to anyone who loves music.
