One of THE BEST hard rock albums of all-time.......2007-07-07

How anyone can give this album less than 5 stars is unbelieveable to me. I really liked Flaw, and i'm glad to hear they reunited, at least for now, but F.B.M. is in another league. The raw power, grooves, and pure emotion that comes across in Venting is miles bove anything Flaw had done on either of their two albums. Chris Volz is a very talented lyricist, covering topics such as being deserted by his mother (The Gift) to struggling to overcome life's obstacles and continue to fight (Breathing, Life Of Mine). These three songs, along with "Seem To Be Fine" and the powerful single "Pathetic" are the highlights, but really there is not one song here that fans of good powerful hard rock won't like. Very well written, and even better played, and when you put Chris' unique voice on top of it all, you have one of the best pure rock albums ever. Hope they make another someday, but i would settle for another Flaw album too.

Stop Comparing to Flaw.......2006-11-04

Everyone needs to realize Five.Bolt.Main is not intended to sound like Flaw. Yes Flaw was awesome, but you all would enjoy 5BM if you listened to it not trying to here Flaw. As a musician myself I play in 2 seperate bands for the reason that each will have a different sound. When you play in a band with a certain sound you get kind of confined to it. So you start another to get your other emotions out and different influences into the mix. Realize that and you will love the Venting album. It sounds very different in a great way. Awesome album and is definately worth the money. I would recommend this album to all.

Awe Inspiring.......2006-08-08

This Cd made miss Flaw, singer Chris Volz former band. Flaw was a band that should have made it big in the world of hard rock, but both their albums, "Through the Eyes" and "Endangered Species" both scanned under 50,000 units, and the band broke up in frusteration.
Now, Chris volz is back, and in as good as shape as ever. Musically, the band is very reminsicent of Flaw, with Chris tackling the same subjects as he ded with his former band. His lyrics are still pissed and raging, but also very sad and sowerful. Some of his songs made me realize that i'm not all alone in the way that i feel sometimes. A very inspirational band and singer, all in all. Check e m out. You wont be sorry

Vocals?.......2006-07-26

Flaw and FBM would be OK if they had a lead singer to compliment the band! Good Music, Awful Singer and Lyrics. Flaw is at least a bit better than this CD.

Absolutely Amazing.......2006-06-29

I enjoyed this CD better than the previous Flaw albums, and that pretty much speaks for itslef on how awesome this CD is.
