Contains some great tunes to get the blood pumpin'. A couple of the songs contain lyrics that may not be appropriate for young kids.

OH THE NOSTALGIA!.......2005-06-29

Back in like the mid 90s I lived in Oahu, Hawaii. In those days everything you hear on this disc was played all the time on the radio (Xtreme Radio 104.3!!!). These were the glory-days of dance music, when the masses finally started to appreciate it in America (I think), myself included. I would hear this all the time on the radio at home, and that right there molded my tastes for music for the rest of my life. It was upbeat, it was smooth, it wasn't conscious of itself like that hideous rock music, and it had only one purpose: to get you moving on the dance floor! It's been many years since I heard these songs, and I tried to find them to return to those great days for dance music. I've finally found the disc! THIS is the perfect CD for working out, driving your car, or just plain getting excited and crazy! I LOVE this CD! :P

Sports songs new & old are winners!.......2006-02-25

The songs on this disc are often heard at sporting venues. The one thing that has bothered me about this series are the cheesy transitions from one song to the next. Crowds cheering, etc. does nothing to enhance my listening enjoyment. In fact, it detracts from it some because I want to her clean intros to the songs. Other than that, this disc is great! The songs cover a wide range of eras and relate well to a variety of sports.

This is bringing the sounds of the stadium right into your own home, for better or worse and minus the beer vendors (unfortunately). However, it's great to clean your house to, perfect for slam-dunk-the-wastebasket accompanient, and the absolute best thing to listen to before you run your first marathon. I'm surprised, yet pleased, to recommend it!

Un trabajo excelente de Louis Clark y la Real Orquesta Filarmónica, tengo 3 CD's (Hooked on Classics 1, 2 y 3) y estoy a la caza de más.

¿Tienes la curiosidad de entrar al mundo de la música clásica y piensas que es aburrida?, prueba esto y tendras un punto de vista diferente, por supuesto que la musica clásica no es pop pero te dá una buena idea de como es.

An excellent work from Louis Clark & the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, I have 3 CD (Hooked on Classics 1, 2 and 3) and I'm looking for more.

Do you have the curiosity to enter in the classical music world and you think it's bored?, try this and you'll have a different point of view, of course classical music is not pop but it will give you a good idea how it is.

This is a must have for any fan of Cross-cultural music.
It is like a mixed drink. 80% Classical, 20% Rock and roll.
It is the perfect mix for anyone who enjoys classical music,
but lives an energized, upbeat life style. If you are a strict lover of classical music, you may not like the "steady rythm" of the drum and bass guitar mixed in with a rhapsody of your classical
favorites, but you will still appreciatte the artmanship and talent
of Louis Clark and the Royal Philharmonic. It is not to the extreme of ELO, or Metallica's S&M, it leans more toward Rhondo Vininciano (Forgive the spelling, please) only better.
