The major-label debut from ska punks Save Ferris isn't exactly a classic, but it is a lot of fun. There's no middle-ground reaction to their cover of "Come On Eileen"; everyone seems to either love it or hate it. If you're in the latter group, skip it and listen to "The World Is New," "Superspy," "Goodbye," and "Little Differences." Save Ferris are at their best when they're up-tempo, and fortunately there are plenty of up-tempo songs on this album, peppered with catchy hooks, the requisite horns, and Monique Powell's considerable voice (one of Save Ferris's major strengths). While not fantastic, It Means Everything is a promising album, with several moments that verge on brilliance. --Genevieve Williams

Fun Ska CD, Great Singing.......2006-10-30

Save Ferris along with Reel Big Fish are a couple major benefactors in Ska second (but limited) revival. For the most part the songs are uptempo, the horn's great, but what really makes this album is Monique's great singing ability. Look beyond 'Come on Eileen' there are many great tunes here like the 'Spam' a modern day ska classic. Also, check out the video included on the cd with a great little cut from one of their live shows. I highly recommned this album. If you are looking for other additions to your ska library, check out Bop Harvey's get album Bread and Circus.

This CD which came out years ago, never losses its flavor.
Its high energy, happy, and great dancing music!

Okay, so what if my husband and I were nearly the oldest people at the concert (34 & 35 now)? This album NEVER fails to get me moving. It's fun to sing along to, do dance to, to drive to. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT

happy, bouncy, horny, retro........2005-06-21

this album can put you in a good mood in 2 seconds flat. the melodies are wonderful, the songs are upbeat and bouncy. the horns are amazing and the vocals, are smooth. this is definitely one of my favorite ska albums.

The non-import was awesome, and I just had to hear these 2 extra songs. OMG! It was so worth all that money! I would never get rid of this even if someone paid me double for it!
