Laid back, 5 star banger. This is hip-hop in it's peak in my opinion, by one of it's best. Drive, skateboard or get irie to it
one of the most underrated producers of all time.......2006-01-29
diamond is one of the most influential producers in the game, and he is the very few producers that can rap, kanye you're not diamond d,nor pete rock or lord finesse, and kanye you need to learn how to sample how diamond does.and the thing with diamond is that he can rap,he's just underrated just because he's a producer that rhymes but y'all don't dog kanye when he does it,we need you back, diamond, and i also heard that this album is out of print,so i had to download the album, sorry diamond,my only concern is that he had a couple of commercial tracks something that puffy would do,diamond please don't go that route, but other than that the standout tracks are MC Iz My Ambition,5 Fingas Of Death(hot beat by lord finesse),and This One featuring busta rhymes on the chorus.recommended for fans of ditc.
COME BACK DIAMOND D THA RAP GAME NEEDS YOU!!.......2005-11-23
THIS IS MOST KNOWN TO PEOPLE THAT LIKE HIP HOP...FOR ME IM ON IT,AND GOING TO STAY ON THIS HIP HOP BANGER YEAH!!!
Kanye Who? Peep Dat Kid from E.165th Street!.......2004-12-12
Seriously, Diamond D has gotta be THE Most slept on producer EVER. He also can hold the dubious title of being a "Producer AND Mc." In 2005 the double threat is all too common, and cats like Kanye West have made a name for themselves. Diamond's second full length is from 1997, the birth year of bling, flash and all of that, but diamond keeps it gully from start to end. The beats here are bananas, as alot of the tracks he has made, the rhymes are tight too. Diamond is a producer first don't get it twisted, but ain't no joke on the mic either. Back 6+ years before the Kanye phenom, diamond was puttin it down and bringing the BRONX back. Forget Fat Joe Diamond would tear Joe a new one is rhymes, but alas they were homies and did the DITC album 2 years later. For that real hip hop whcih sounds just as fresh today as it did in '97 I would say this is a good place to start. It's high time we heard something new from that kid from 165th St in the Boogie Down BX! I follow fairly closely to hip hop below the radar and haven't seen anything from the kid in a hot minute. where you at D?
Real hip-hop........2004-11-23
I dunno what these fagotz who gave this album three stars or 1 or two were thinking...Obvious , yall dunno hip-hop. Anyways, if you love tight beats, impressive lirycs and straight hip-hop nonstop? Den get if you already havent? Diamond d's " Hatred, Passion & Infidelity" and i promise diz will bring back memoris like it brings back memoris for me. The best track ? Hiatus and the beat on that song? Crazyyyy son!!!!
