The Mossie don't seem to have the popularity they deserve. Not many people seem to know about the group. Maybe its because their slightly old school but I think they are the best rap group. E-40's brother and cousin (Mugzi & Kaveo) are the best of the three. Kaveo could easily go solo, his flow could possibly be the most wicked I've ever heard. This is evident in track 11 where he absolutely shines. There are many good songs on here with those awesome Sick Wid It beats. It has a nice old school feel on a few tracks. Overall the best song on the cd is Players Roll which is a classic to say the least and one of the best songs I've ever listened to. Its a true classic hit to play at any party. Some other great tracks are #2 (with a funkadelic beat), 4, 13, and 15. So go get this cd and enjoy it.

This album is one of the best albums noone has. The Mossie are a great group on the Vallejo record label Sick Wid It Records. The group's three rappers are all really tight and have their own special style of rapping. They do street gangsta rap, but still there's a lot of humour in their lyrics and delivery. So their album is very enjoying to listen to. The Mossie is : Tap Dat Ass, Young Mugzi (E-40's brother) and the best rapper on the group - Kaveo (40's cousin). The production on the album is on the highest level pssible in the Bay Area. Producers include Rick Roc, Studio Ton, Tone Capone, Sean T, DJ X-Large and others... You also get many great guest appearences by the label's biggest names - E-40, B-Legit, Celly Cel, Suga T, Mr. Malik, Levitti... If you love the Bay Area and especially that mob sound by Sick Wid It records, get this album - I promiss you'll love it!
