IT'S A GOOD CD.......2007-04-16

This cd and these dudes are pretty good. I was thinking of buying this cd for a little while, but I didn't have much money, so when I found it so cheap here on amazon I bought it and was not dissapointed.

i remember a few years ago when "tell me" could be heard across the country everywhere u went. unfortunately most people passed up the whole cd which is tight. alotta dope joints on here to get the party started. 5 star classic!

Actullie the beats are on album are pretty tight and there's three good song "lets roll" , " who wants this" , and , "tell me" which was the reason i bought it but fo real, the rest of the album with weack songs like "its on" , "lets get naked" , "gully", and all the other tracks? Realy dissapointed me coz i thought diz would be a good album and its not good its ight counting the tight beats and three good songs the rest is just plain boring and the lirycs gets to be realy mediocre and corny... Naw, i don't recommend smilez & southstar's " crash the Party" coz it ain't realy worth nuthing.

Rockabilly all the way.......2006-05-15

The title of this CD says it all, it comes crashing in with the first track and doesn't stop rocking all the way through. To describe Benny Joy I would have to say Elvis in his SUN Records years, Roy Orbison, and Carl Perkins all mixed together. But comparing Benny Joy to other artists of the time truly does not do him justice, how someone who made such great music fell into relative obscurity is beyond me but thanks to the people at Ace (who put out so many wonderful CDs) we have most of his recordings available.
