5 out of 5 stars Good Debut.......2006-03-30

This album came correct, skinny had never sounded this great this and will probably not again. If you like 3-6 or skinny pimp u should buy this. The rest of his albums dont match to this, the beats are bumpin too mainly cause it was produced by Paul & Juice. Check out songs like "Ya'll ain't no killaz" "I don't love em" and "All about them prophets".

5 out of 5 stars King Of Da Playaz Ball - Kingpin Skinny Pimp.......2003-04-28

The best solo release from Prophet Entertainment. Some of the best beats post Mystic Stylez by Paul & Juice. As the two have grown as producers, unfortunately Skinny has dwindled as a rapper resorting to recycled lyrics.

5 out of 5 stars Skinny Pimp's Best Album, Period........2002-05-11

Back in the Prophet Entertainment days, Skinny was one of their best artists. Now they are beefin' but this came out back when Three 6 and Skinny was cool. It is a Memphis classic and a cd that every Three 6 Mafia and Skinny Pimp fan should have. It's one of the best rap albums ever made end of story. GET IT NOW!!!!!!

5 out of 5 stars ILL STR8 PIMPN SKINNYDA NIGERO.......2001-11-07

THIS ALBUM IS THE FOUNDATION ON WHICH PROPHET WAS MADE A MUST 4 A REAL LYRICAL (***) ADMIRER. SKINNY SHINES ON SONG AFTER SONG. SO YO FEEL ME YOU OVERSTAND ME HUH THIS IS DA REAL (***)OF DA RAP GAME. SO PUT DIS IN YO BOX. CAUTION:BONE FANZ BEWARE CUZ DIS CAT PUTS DEM SICX FEET.

5 out of 5 stars I got hoes on the track fool.......2001-07-19

What can I say negative about this album? nothing at all dj paul and juicy J were the producers of this cd and you can tell cuz the cd is poppin. Skinny pimp with his gangsta lyrics expressing his every day life from pimping to pulling of heists and putting niggas six feet under. This cd included almost every body from three six mafia but one of my favorites were I don't love em feat gangsta boo. Just another nigga representing the m-town!

2 out of 5 stars If its' not broke, don't fix it!.......2006-10-12

    **1/2.

There are some minor changes made to this instant masterpiece that takes away from the original. The songs don't link together correctly after each track ends. "Other side of the game" is now the last song and it sounds odd because you can still hear the "Society is the menace" ending on the beginning of the track. The last two songs, "Alot of Thangz" and "Recognize Me" were cut shorter. JT, if you're going to rerelease a classic album, don't be lazy about it. I recommend fans to buy the original 1994 print used, if they can find it.

5 out of 5 stars JT The Bigga Figga's Masterpiece.......2006-09-21

"Thirty years from now, I'll still sound tight"-Black Nate on track 12 "Recognize Me".

SMC rereleased this classic underground Bay Area album that came out of the Get Low Records camp in the summer of 1994. The formula follows the format of Dr. Dre's "The Chronic". The independent CEO that can rap, produce and showcase the talent that's signed to his label. The outcome is thirteen tracks of street knowledge that incorporates muslim teachings, survival tactics, with hard lyrics over brilliant dark production that could be a soundtrack for horror/exploitation flicks.
The only difference with this version is that "Other Side of The Game" is the last track instead of "Recognize Me". I guess JT thought it made more sense because the message of the song and all three of the main group members appear on it, JT, San Quinn, and D-moe. Most of the albums that came out of Get Low Records in the early 90's are dope material but this record is the highlight of JT's genius. Listen to the first track, an instrumental simply titled "Allah and JT". You will be convinced.

This Album is better than or eqaul to all the 3-6 mafia albums some people feel they have to choose sides between the too but thats for haters or morons like imfamous. The production is good i like about 7 songs the rest are ok so ad it to the collection.

1 out of 5 stars blah blah blah.......2003-05-08

          Edited review:

I used to actually think this moron had something to offer. But he doesn't. Like almost every other rapper, he just talks over switchboard beats in stupid ebonics. It sounds like ghetto nursery rhymes. They ought to be paying people to listen to garbage like this. The only thing KSP does well is diss D.J. Paul (I do want to learn the lil' arm dance...).

          5 out of 5 stars Still Stay'n Crunk.......2000-04-13

Kingpin Skinny Pimp is Still Stay'n Crunk with his new album Back To The Playaz Ball. Paying no attention to them haters from Three Six Mafia who tried to hold my playa back on his first album King Of The Playas Ball. The production along with Skinny's flows make this one of the tightest albums to come from Skinny. If you don't have this in your collection what are you waiting for? Gimisum of that Orginized Maf Luv... Code 999 for life.

          4 out of 5 stars definitely back!.......2000-03-28

Even though the skinny one didn't receive a lot of publicity for 2000 rap dopegame, Skinny has stepped out of the industry of making music and got back to basics. High-powered beats with tongue twisting lyrics have found the artist back in the mix of it all. You've got to cop this one if you are a fan of the original "southern-style" banging tracks.

          4 out of 5 stars Totally DOPE.......2000-02-27

The beats are all hella tight done by JT the Bigga Figga, Metro, and more Frisco producers. This cd is a must have for all those Bay Area rap fans. A perfect album that will probably be considered a classic in a few years. Peace WestRider
