The True Rukus Bringa.......2000-08-25

This is one of the most refreshing rap albums I've heard in years. Similar flow to that of Eminem, beats that are way out of left field, spanish guitar a la Wyclef, Foo Fighter-ish stop and go melodies, lyrical presence that would impress even Kool Keith, but they won't make your mother blush... They are uplifing and fun, yet real and thought provoking. Transparemcee is nothing short of brilliant! Also, an unforgettable cameo by the legendary Pigeon John of LA Symphony and Brainwash Projects. Illmatic!

MG! rocks the mic all the way through. Not to mention the element all the special performances added to the whole experience.
