          4 out of 5 stars Good-of course.......2004-05-18

Tim Mahoney is a very impressive singer/songwriter/musician. This CD shows his talents off well-you can hear the emotion in his voice while he sings. This is a great CD to add to your Tim Mahoney collection-or a great one to start off the collection. Compare his music to Gin Blossoms and Matchbox Twenty-with more of a personal feel.

          5 out of 5 stars Tim Mahoney.......2002-07-15

This is one of Tim's first albums, and everyone after this gets better and better. Check out his ealier work and continue to grow with each of his new albums.

4 out of 5 stars Tim Mahoney's Debut CD is very good, raw sound.......2002-02-27

This is Tim's first attempt in the studio and the songs are written really well and sung well. Tim's voice is super in the CD and is probably some of the best raw sounds on any of the 4 CDs he's produced. With songs like, "Come On Home", "Aging Past", and "Everything I Can", you really can hear the emotion that Tim put into his work.
There are also the classics such as "Lay Down Low", a song that became a trademark song with the live crowd and "Mr. Fancy", a song about his father. "Talk to Me" also became fans favorite in live shows, also called the "Five Dollar song" by those who drank too much at the shows.
The sound of Tim is compared to Gin Blossoms and Hootie and the Blowfish. If you like this type of music, you will like the music of Tim Mahoney and the Meenies, (at this time the band was called "The Meenies", but Tim never printed his road band on his CDs as he was a solo artist.
The songs are really raw and not over produced. Since time was money for Tim on this CD, what you hear is what you get. This CD contains 11 great songs and probably some of the best songs ever written by Tim Mahoney.
Check out the website TIMMAHONEY.COM for sound clips of all of the music.

This CD is about to blow up. However if not by other viewers, then for sure by me. I can say that I was the privileged one I viewed the CD before it hit the market and the streets. I had personal experiences with those songs. I am FEByrds' #1 fan. The music is great! If you like Tu Pac you'll love the Byrdman. His vocals are to the extreme very strong. If you understand music then you'll understand him. You would deffinately have to listen to the music. There is a meaning to his every word. Rock Bottom Trademark reminds me of my family. The Bydman expresses how he struggles to get his family out of proverty. The song Down South Style, is one of my personal favorites. I just love to dance to this one. The Byrdman also stresses how he refuses to be poor and if you're with him while he's trying to come up then you could ride, other wise you could roll the hell on. Victim of Circumstance I believe is his second favorite. He once again stress how the system is so unfair and how black people can't get a decent job because our skin isn't pink which means he's stuck in a situation and has to do wrong to survive. And last but not the least, my # 1 favorite. Work That Body is another one that I just simply love to dance too! Job well done Freddrick!

3 out of 5 stars If you like Tu Poc, listen to this.......1999-11-30

Byrdman has some real musical hooks, and strong vocal delivery. Worth checkin out.
