3 out of 5 stars You always will hear a waltz from Richard Rodgers.......2007-01-13

An example of Rodgers trying to fit in a new contributor of lyrics, but the match wasn't there, yet even so, his melodic mastery shone through.

5 out of 5 stars Much better than it's reputation........2006-11-02

Despite being considered a flop by it's creative team, this is the one of Sondheim's "lyrics only" musicals I return to most often. It's melancholy charm is underlined by Rodgers' highly hummable tunes combined with Sondheim's reluctant lyrics. They are partly bitter and partly forced "happy". I love it.

4 out of 5 stars An unappreciated score by a fine cast.......2004-02-04

Even though the show was not a success and the authors have all taken their turns at trashing it, this recording makes a strong case for DO I HEAR A WALTZ.

It's another fine record production by Goddard Lieberson. Rodgers (who was from all reports drinking and quite nasty to his collaborators) came up with many of his trademark melodies and the title song won deserved popularity outside of the show. Sondheim for his part creates some crackling good lyrics ("Someone Woke Up"; "What Do We Do We Fly!") but its an odd score... you hear the romantic older style love songs from Rodgers with fairly basic (dare we say dull) lyrics then some wonderful lyrics set to atypical Rodgers tunes. Then suddenly it all comes together in the final few numbers: The Title Song, "Perfectly Lovely Couple" and "Thank You So Much." Maybe it's a show that Encores will revive someday. In the meantime we can appreciate this original cast album and thank Sony for releasing it on Cd with good notes and a synopsis in the booklet!

4 out of 5 stars "Someone Woke Up.....".......2003-10-04

So begins the delightful DO I HEAR A WALTZ?, one of Richard Rodgers' most accomplished post-Hammerstein scores. Not since his days with Lorenz Hart had Rodgers written such an energetic, youthful and joyful score. Stephen Sondheim's lyrics are witty and wonderful. DO I HEAR A WALTZ? received a lukewarm response from critics and audiences, lasting only 220 performances at the 46th Street Theatre.

Based on Arthur Laurents' play THE TIME OF THE CUCKOO (which turned into the film SUMMERTIME starring Katharine Hepburn), the story concerns a teacher, Leona Samish (played by Elizabeth Allen), who's holiday in Venice is dominated by her romance with the handsome Renato di Rossi (played by Sergio Franchi). There are also a host of colorful supporting characters including the ebullient hotelier Signora Fioria (Carol Bruce - SARATOGA).

The score is delicious with the opening number perfectly setting up the scene ("Someone Woke Up"), to Fioria's big number "This Week Americans", and the 11 o'clock number "Stay". There's also the Title Song, sung for all its worth by the delicious belt of Elizabeth Allen.

For all the problems that plagued the musical during its inception, nothing shows on the sparkling cast album, where it sounds like the biggest hit of the season. For Broadway fans, this CD is a must-own.

5 out of 5 stars You MUST hear a 'Waltz'!.......2003-06-16

Please, give this a chance. Forget what you've read and just sit and listen. Read the libretto, available at lots of libraries, or read "Time of the Cuckoo" which Arthur Laurents based "Waltz" on. The combo of Rodgers and Sondheim is always sneered at--maybe, like me, you will see that Rodgers romanticism and Sondheim's sort of optimistic realism are actually the perfect mismatch for the endearingly troubled characters in the play.

Mr.Producer, forget all the basicstage gossip and let the score sell the show for you. Audiences, demand your favorite companies mount a production!

Recorded live at the Prince Music Theater in Philadelphia, this double CD is one heck of an extensive tribute to Stephen Sondheim. Backed only by Paul Ford on piano, Mandy Patinkin gets through nearly three dozen songs penned by the Broadway master. Some are obvious (excerpts from Sunday in the Park with George, in which the singer created the title role), others less so ("If You Can Find Me I'm Here" from Evening Primrose). Patinkin is often mocked for his shivering falsetto, but here, it's actually when his voice explores a lower register that it falters. What's more interesting is when he tackles songs usually sung by women, such as Follies' "Broadway Baby" and Company's "Another Hundred People" and "You Could Drive a Person Crazy"--the latter hammed up so much that you can hear the chewing of the scenery. A distinctively mannered interpreter, Patinkin remains an acquired taste, but fans of his will be in heaven with this set. --Elisabeth Vincentelli

5 out of 5 stars Patinkin Live.......2007-07-19

I am a huge Mandy Patinkin fan, and this is, without a doubt, one of the best CDs in my collection. The transitions between songs are excellent and seamless, plus the song selection was top-notch.

5 out of 5 stars Sondheim recital.......2007-01-22

Probably the best way to approach these disks is to treat them like a recital in a concert hall. Rather as you would listen to a Schubert or Schumann song cycle. Taken together this way, we come to hear Sondheim as one of our finest composers, serious, comic, manic, depressive, always dead on target no matter what the subject matter. And Patinkin is perfect for these songs; he understands the meaning and value of every note and every word, just as a fine concert singer would do, and he makes his listeners understand, too. One of the most intriguing concept albums in recent memory, and a joy all the way through. Bob Finley, Palm Springs, CA.

2 out of 5 stars Also a very dissapointed fan.......2003-08-22

I too LOVE Mandy and Stephen Sondheim and own just about everything both has ever made! I also have been to 6 of Mandy's live performances. This was truly a big dissapointment to me. Every concert I have seen Mandy in has been filled with emotion and his personality just grabs hold of you for an evening of wonderful escape-ism. This to me was very un-entertaining and I actually became irritated after awhile of listening to it. It seemed to drone on with out the wonderful feelings and emotions and soaring voice that Mandy typically puts into his music. I gave this as a gift too (since my friend and I had missed Mandy at his Sondheim review in DC last year) and felt badly that I had. There are so many other great recordings of Mandy...Kidults, Saturday in the Park with George, The Secret Garden, Mandy sings Rogers & Hammerstien and Sondheim. This one has just sat on my shelf after I played it through twice hoping to warm up to it...while my other recordings are very worn out with years of playing!

2 out of 5 stars Adequate performance; poor entertainment.......2003-05-04

I received this disc the same day a "Philip Quast Live at the Donmar". The Quast disc has its own flaws (and I dont wish to compare the two performers) but it has been strung together in a more thoughtful manner, with witty imagination and using a more dangerous in the choice of songs, which is really where this disc fails. The songs here are generally enjoyable though rather standard, and the lack of cohesion (running the songs together doesnt count) means I just dip into the discs listening to a few favourites, rather than enjoying the whole show.

2 out of 5 stars a very disappointed fan.......2003-02-05

I have every recording Patinkin appears on, even if he's only on one track; I adore his voice, his flair, his emotion, his ability to deliver a song.

But (much of) this recording is disappointing, mainly because Mr. Patinkin's voice in the lower range sounds muddled and forced, as though he's lost ability to control it (however, the more falsetto sounds are as clear and sharp as ever).

And I don't care for the format of this performance. Live recordings should have live audience reactions: one (often unrelated) song after another without applause had me wondering when--if ever--was the audience was going to be allowed to react.

Also, while I've never had the privilege of attending a Patinkin concert, I imagined that--above all-- he would be passionate. Perhaps he was. But what (mostly) comes across on the CD is a somber--almost technical--performance.

I hope he's healthy, that mixed quality of singing on this recording was just a fluke, and that his next CD will be a Five-star as all his previous ones have been

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars The perfect Christmas Spirit CD.......2007-01-10

If you need some Christmas Spirit, this is the CD for you. Every mood of Christmas music is included in this album and the song "Walking in the Air" is worth the price of the CD by itself.

5 out of 5 stars Christmas with the Pops CD breaks all time listening record in our home!.......2007-01-09

This CD really represents the music our family likes to hear during the holiday season. The selections are beautifully arranged, performed with a variety of vocalists and are all recognizable holiday favorites that had us singing away while wrapping gifts and enjoying the season's festivities (even made cleaning the house somewhat more bearable). I would highly recommend this CD as a musical gift to yourself and someone else!

5 out of 5 stars An Enjoyable Recording from America's Other Pops Orchestra.......2004-12-17

This is a wonderful recording by America's "Other" Pops orchestra. Since I am from Boston, I automatically associate the word Pops with the Boston Pops and when it was first released, purchased it at will believing it was a Boston Pops recording. Upon listening, I realized that it was a different sound than the Boston Pops sound, but this discovery was hardly a disappointment. One of the reasons why Erich Kunzel has been so successful with the Cincinnati Pops is his ability to bring forth a powerful and unique sound. This recording has all the Christmas standards, but the standards are presented in a creative manner, which is both a Telarc and Cincinnati Pops trademark.

There are two great strengths to this recording: its variety and its guests. There are full symphonic arrangements as well as arrangements for soloist, adult and children's choirs. Brass and organ ensembles, and hand bell choirs. The various arrangements are placed in an order throughout the recording that keeps the listener's attention. The gests are also outstanding. Rosemary Clooney, baritone Sherill Milnes, Doc Severinsen, and Toni Tenille add star power to the recording. There are unique tracks, particularly the chilling and somewhat ephemeral "Walking in the Air" from THE SNOWMAN performed by treble Stephen Van Dyck.

I have owned the recording since its release in 1990 and it has become a treasured part of my holiday collection. I am sure other listeners will treasure it too.

5 out of 5 stars Fireside Favorites.......2003-11-19

One of the best Christmas albums you will find. Perfect balance between religious favorites, non-religious classics, and children's favorites. All tastefully done and arranged to fit the theme of the song. Many of the percussion "effects" bring the songs to life and the solo and choral vocals are outstanding. Cannot recommend this album highly enough. A must have for any Christmas collection to be enjoyed for many years.

5 out of 5 stars The perfect Pops Christmas.......2002-05-12

What a wonderful Christmas gift. Erich Kunzel and The Cincinnati Pops rarely fail to please on the Telarc label, and this is (IMHO of course) one of their most pleasing efforts. Rosemary Clooney (Best "White Christmas" since Der Bingle), Doc Severinsen, Stephen Van Dyck, and other guests add wonderfully to a very fun, upbeat, and enjoyable Christmas collection. This cd has become the most played in my Christmas collection...I can't recommend it highly enough.

4 out of 5 stars "Someone Woke Up.....again".......2006-07-12

One of the shows that no-one ever expected to be revived was DO I HEAR A WALTZ?, the 1965 musical version of "Time of the Cuckoo", with music by Richard Rodgers and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. The show crashed and burned during it's original run and was basically relegated to the "fabulous flops" file. Fast forward to 2001 and the Pasadena Playhouse, who decided to dust off the show for a second chance at success.

Alyson Reed, who essayed the role of Cassie in the movie version of "A Chorus Line", played the lovelorn teacher Leona Samish whose holiday in Venice gives way to a whirlwind romance. Veteran Broadway star Carol Lawrence (most famously the original Maria in "West Side Story") plays the ebullient hotelier Signora Fioria, and sings the role's main number "This Week Americans" with all the showmanship and gusto that only a performer of her ilk can provide.

Alyson Reed's powerful and belty mezzo is well-used in her performance as Leona. The role's originator (Elizabeth Allen) had a similar sort of voice and the role really comes to life because of it. The rousing introductory number "Someone Woke Up", a fine combination of Rodgers at his most energetic and Sondheim at his most pragmatic, is indeed a highlight of the complete score.

While the work will never quite acheive the level of greatness that defines the all-time classic Broadway musicals, DO I HEAR A WALTZ? does give some pleasure with Richard Rodgers' most youthful and wondering score.

      4 out of 5 stars A Pleasant Surprise.......2005-09-28

After hearing what a dud this was for years, I never bothered to buy the original recording. But after buying this newer version I was surprised how much I liked this! While it doesnt rank as the best of Rodgers or Sondheim, its much better than I was expecting. I even went ahead and bought the original cast recording after buying this one. If I had to choose, I would recommend this one as the better choice. It has an overture, the original lyrics to Its Gonna Be Allright and the song Everybody Loves Leona which isnt in the original. The lead ins and voice overs also help to establish character. But if you can swing it, get the original cast too (its cheap!) for Elizabeth Allen and Sergio Franchi

5 out of 5 stars Considerably better than it's reputation!.......2005-04-28

To me, Sondheim's occationally cynical lyrics are just what is needed to bring the somewhat lighthearted sound of Rodgers tunes down to earth. The result is a strong and fascinating contrast between the elements of the musical, which is absolutely right for this ambivalent piece of theatre.

In DIHAW one may recognise themes and issues explored in other, all-Sondheim musicals like Anyone Can Whistle, Company and A Little Night Music.

3 out of 5 stars Flawed revival missing the heart.......2004-02-26

I am somewhat prejudiced. I was in Boston when the original show was in tryout - an impressionable journalism major at Boston University. Cast member Stuart Damon was kindness itself in granting an interview and taking me backstage during rehearsals. I'll never forget the event and I'll never forget the bittrsweet romance of the show.

This attempt to revive the production has everything going for it but heart. What you do have on this album that you don't on the original is: the OVERTURE (a trifle); two short numbers - ENGLISH LESSON (less than half a minute) and GOING TO THE LIDO (less than a minute and originally part of the ensemble of HERE WE ARE AGAIN and more effectively used therein); a final reprise of THIS WEEK AMERICANS; and three major additions - the complete PERFECTLY LOVELY COUPLE (only the last half of it was recorded on the OC album); the dropped EVERYBODY LOVES LEONA (mediocre) and a completely new lyric for WE'RE GONNA BE ALRIGHT (clever lyrics but so cynical and degrading in its attitude towards marriage that it does not fit the rest of the show).

The only performer who is stellar is Carol Lawrence - a match for the show's original Carol Bruce in both acting and singing ability- she steals the production. Everyone else ranges from serviceable to mediocre. Crivello's voice is lousy- it's all tremolo and very hard on the ears. His attempt to hit the last extremely high note in STAY comes out as a rasp. What throws off the entire production is Alyson Reed. It's like having Elaine Stritch in the role - she is brassy, rude, prudish, demanding, unattractive and totally unsympathetic as Leona. The recent revival of BELLS ARE RINGING suffered from the same total lack of warmth in its brassy leading lady.

For Rodgers and Sondheim purists the album is worth purchasing for the additional material not on the OC album, but this revival result is a far cry from the beauty of the original.

      3 out of 5 stars So close....so far........2002-02-09

Here's a perfect example of the fragile brilliance of Sondheim's work. Without perfectly chosen casts (arrived at after rigorous casting sessions), who, after weeks of rehearsal, wholly inhabit their characters, a score like this, so exquisitely made, can founder, as it does whenever these principals sing. Leona, a harsh harridon, beats the hell out of the songs, displaying no yearning, no innocence, unlike the very adequate Elizabeth Allen on the original. The Renato fares even worse: anemic-voiced, reedy; there's none of the essential masculinity to his voice or delivery.

Also, the orhestrations are serviceable, but really could've used the subtlety, the emotional smarts, and the gorgeous musicality of Jonathan Tunick; in particular, in his current no strings 'chamber' phase, he would really have brought out the character textures and the sumptuousness of the music.

On the plus side: the reduction in the Burns orchestration for a smaller theater really helps the score; the faster pacing of the slower ballads, delivered, oddly, as dirges in the orginal, help those songs a lot. Sondheim's lyrics are so incisive and playful, to the point where the playfulness is an art form in itself--high art. The dialogue really helps explain the numbers here, and filling in the numbers that, in the orginal, are fragmentary, really brings out the beauty of this score.

One further qualm: the title number has no emotional impact whatsoever. It's an odd, writerly notion anyway, that she'll hear a waltz when she falls in love. But this one hits us without any preparation, no build up, and she delivers it as if she were trying to jump start an Ethel Merman revival.

      Recast...get Tunick..bring to New York..it's a real, genuine, beauty!

5 out of 5 stars Great, definitely go with this and TAC.......2005-08-31

Right now, there are four official English-language versions of Les Miserables: the Original London Cast Recording, the Original Broadway Cast Recording, the Complete Symphonic Recording, and the 10th Anniversary Concert Recording. Les Mis' addicts are best served by purchasing all recordings, as they showcase different stages (as in the OLC and the OBC) of the development of this mega-musical, as well as the interesting variations in presentation and performances by the different casts and orchestras.

If you're the average musical-theater listener who can't afford to buy all available English-language recordings, however, my advice would be to get the CSR (due to the fact that it's "complete") and the TAC recording (due to the fact that performer- and performance-wise, it's leaps and bounds better than all of the other recordings). You deserve no less.

      5 out of 5 stars Awesome.......2005-07-03

I can't believe all the negative comments about Gary Morris. He is so much better in the role than Colm Wilkinson. I've seen Gary perform the part three times and there is NO better Jean ValJean (seen the play 14 times). It's an international cast and some of the accents do take time getting used to. But the power of the music supercedes it all. Listen with your heart people. It's so incredible.

3 out of 5 stars Bought it used - thank God!.......2005-06-17

"Les Miserables" is a marvelous musical; a stunningly faithful interpretation of Victor Hugo's masterpiece, with an inspiring storyline and unforgettable characters. There are 2 reasons for buying a Les Mis CD - (1) you've seen a performance and want ONE CD to remind you of it or (2) you've become a les Mis junkie (like me) and want multiple versions so you too can hold forth on the rival merits of Andy Warlow vs Michael Maguire, Patty LuPone vs Ruthie Henshaw, Frances Ruffelle vs Kaho Shimada vs Lea Solonga. If you are in the first category, you really want the Tenth Anniversary Concert. The TAC has the complete storyline (albeit slightly abridged), it was recorded live (so there's an unique intensity and chemistry between performers), and from top to bottom it has by far the best cast.

However, if you're a serious Les Mis fan, you should buy this CD (in addition), simply because it does have the complete score. (The trouble with THAT is that it includes practically the only misstep in the whole script - if Jean Valjean has his number branded on his chest, then how is it credible that someone else will be convicted in his place?) I bought it for that reason and to hear other interpretations of the roles (in particular Andy Warlow's). I have all 4 versions, and they have all have their pluses and minuses, but frankly, I'm glad I didn't pay full price for this one. This version has a rather weak cast in general, but that does add to the fun arguing about it. On the plus side, it has Philip Quast ( THE BEST Javert, but he's even better on the TAC), Michael Ball (THE BEST Marius, also on the OLC and TAC versions), and Andy Warlow (a stirring Enjorlas for sure, but not THAT much better than Michael Maguire on the OBC and TAC). The scenes at the barricade are the best part of the CD. Kaho Shimada is an uneven Eponine, OK sometimes, less so at others. Debbie Byrne (Fantine) is OK, but I don't find her as moving as Patty LuPone (OLC) or Ruthie Henshaw (TAC). Tracy Shayne (Cosette) is irratating, not nearly as sweet as Judy Kuhn (OLB and TAC) or even Rebecca Caine (OLC). I find Barry James and especially Gay Soper (M. and Mme. Thenardier) grating as well.

I really miss Colm Wilkinson (OLC, OBC and TAC). OK, he has a unique singing style, but such heart. Not always perfect, but so powerful and emotional. All his solos and "Confrontation" just stop me dead in my tracks. The sweetness and purity of his "Bring Him Home" and "Epilogue" move me to tears. But really, there must be someone else who can do at least an adequate job or the show wouldn't have run so long in so many venues. I am willing to listen to another interpretation, but not this one. This is the central role in the play, it really can't survive without a good performance here. Gary Morris is horrible as Jean Valjean, cringe-provoking at times, merely weak at others. He's totally overmatched by Quast in "Confrontation" and by everyone in "One Day More" and "Epilogue". I haven't tried the recommendation of one reviewer of listening while squinting and shaking my head hard, but I don't see how that will help. Morris's "What have I done?", "Bring Him Home" and "Valjean's Confession" make me cover my ears or send me running for the fast forward button, although "Who am I?" isn't so bad. (I just tried the head shaking trick, it didn't help.)

      5 out of 5 stars magnificent!.......2005-06-15

Ok, I admit it. I have long been a fan of musicals, but I was only exposed to Les Mis a few months ago. My roommate loaned me this recording, and I fell in love. I played nothing but this soundtrack for the next several weeks.

As this is the only recording I've heard fully, I cannot give any comparisons between the performers here and those on other versions, but I do wish to give my general impression of the cast.

*Gary Morris (Valjean) - he has a strong, clear voice with which it is hard to find fault. He sings with emotion and passion, and I cannot imagine ever tiring of hearing him as Jean Valjean. If I had to give a complaint, it would be that I could imagine a voice with a little more distinct character...something a little riskier for the part of someone so complex.

*Philip Quast (Javert) - wow, I love deep voices, and his is so rich! I love when he hits the low note near the beginning of "Confrontation" ...I've seriously replayed that part over and over again just because it sends shivers through me...haha, I think you get the idea. This guy is good.

*Debbie Byrne (Fantine) - her voice took some getting used to because at first it seemed to me a little uncontrolled, almost like she could capture the fullness of the sound but not quite hit the notes. However, the more I listen to her, the more I enjoy her. Her voice has a wonderful texture, something you totally miss when listening to the super-clear, trilling sopranos that seem to be found all over most other musicals.

*Kaho Shimada (Eponine) - her voice took a little getting used to as well. I was a little confused until I realized she was Japanese, for though I wouldn't say you hear an accent, her voice does have a very different quality to it. Still, I enjoyed her performance very much. Her voice is trembling with emotion the entire time, almost like she can hardly control it...it is quite moving.

*Tracy Shayne (Cosette) - wow. I'm sorry, is Cosette supposed to be this shrill? Turn it off! While I'm impressed at some of the notes she hits, I don't think it's supposed to make you want to cover your ears.

*Michael Ball (Marius) -Ball makes Marius, a rather annoying character if you ask me, into someone actually likable, if not lovable. He's passionate and romantic, but not vapid. Probably my favorite vocal performance.

*Gay Soper and Barry James (the Thernardiers) - their voices are rather grating, but that's the point, right? Very entertaining performances...particularly in "Master of the House" (which, it's true, somehow manages to be stuck in your head all day).

*Anthony Warlow (Enjorolas) - very appropriate voice...manly and vibrant. If he doesn't make you want to go out and fight, then there's no help for you!

Overall, the performances were wonderful. I highly recommend this CD. A great recording of a great musical!

      4 out of 5 stars Mixed Feelings.......2005-04-20

I bought this recently, and it was an object lesson in why I ought to research an item before purchasing it.

For me, it's truly a toss-up as to whether this is a recording worth purchasing. The main benefit-a far from insignificant one-is that it is a complete recording full of much more materiel than can be found on the London or Broadway cast recordings. Basically, I was far from satisfied. The liner notes are error ridden, and the casting was not as good as possible. Gary Morris struck me as too young for the part, and Gay Soper (Mme. Thenardier) has a voice akin to the sound of fingernails on a chalkboard. But, in the absence of a complete Broadway recording, this still may be the best version available to buy. Be sure, however, to supplement it with another version. (The Tenth Anniversary recording might be the best.)

      Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars "Broadway Shows from the 1960's ~ Percy Faith".......2004-02-23

Percy Faith blends two award winning Broadway Shows together "Subways Are For Sleeping" (originally released on Columbia Records CS 8533 in 1961) and "Do I Hear A Waltz?" (originally released on Columbia Records CS 9117 in 1965), following the formula of previous albums from the vault of rare finds ~ two more winners are under the baton of the Maestro.

First twelve tracks "Subways Are For Sleeping", featuring the songs of Betty Comden, Adolph Green and Jule Styne with outstanding arrangements on very catchy tunes ~ like "BE A SANTA", "COMES ONCE IN A LIFETIME", "GETTING MARRIED", "HOW CAN YOU DESCRIBE A FACE?", "I JUST CAN'T WAIT", "I SAID IT AND I'M GLAD", "I'M JUST TAKING MY TIME", "NOW I HAVE SOMEONE", "RIDE THROUGH THE NIGHT", "WHAT IS THIS FEELING IN THE AIR?", "WHEN YOU HELP A FRIEND OUT" and "WHO KNOWS WHAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN?", all have the hallmark sound and the authentic "Percy Faith Touch" on every selections.

Second twelve tracks ~ "Do I Hear A Waltz", featuring the tunes of Richard Rodgers and Stephen Soundheim enhanced by the performances of arranger/conductor Percy Faith and his Orchestra ~ "A PERFECTLY LOVELY COUPLE", "DO I HEAR A WALTZ?", "HERE WE ARE AGAIN", "MOON IN MY WINDOW", "NO UNDERSTAND", "SOMEONE LIKE YOU", "STAY", "TAKE THE MOMENT", "THANK YOU SO MUCH", "THINKING", "THIS WEEK AMERICANS" and "WE'RE GONNA BE ALL RIGHT", enamored to the luxurious sound of Faith's string arrangements ~ you're immediately hooked on these tracks ~ marvelous performances enthralling listener's for some fifty years.

The people at Collectables should be commended for bringing back some of Maestro Faith's best works on compact disc ~ there is so much more in the vast vaults, hopefully there will be more to follow...gotta love it!
