CALLAS LIVE SOLO CONCERT DALLAS 1974.......2001-09-08
One of only three solo concerts Callas gave on her controversial farewell tour in 1974.Here is the complete concert from Dallas. In the words of her acompanist, Robert Sutherland, "one of her best performances, another triumph." This cd also contains a very rare piece of singing from Callas in 1977, the last audio document of her voice, in a rehersal from La Forza. Amazingly, the voice was still there, smaller, but actually more even than three years earlier during the last tour.
