Rudolf Mauersberger is always very good with Heinrich Schütz, especially in imparting both strength and sensitivity. He also does well in making the text come alive. For these reasons I have made a point to buy everything that Mauersberger does with either Schütz or Bach. One point to consider here is that most of the tracks are in Latin instead of the German which I prefer. I do enjoy the track "Surrexit pastor bonis" (the Good Shepherd has arisen), because the music expresses the joy and excitement over the risen Christ.
