Charming Schubert.......1998-10-20

This series of five albums is a sheer delight. Schubert's secular part-songs for men's chorus (and sometimes string or horn accompaniment) deserve to be better known. There are songs here to melt your heart. Singphoniker's renditions have all the gusto and/or delicacy you could want, depending on the song, and their intonation is simply amazing. The sound is great.
