Marty's lyrics are thought-provoking without being pretentious, the melodies stick with you, and the band's musical ability is tight and emotional.
This CD is always close to me, and played frequently. As hesitant as I am to categorize this band, for the non-PJ indoctrinated I would compare them to a blend of REM, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Dave Matthews, and Better than Ezra.
Do yourself a favor, buy this CD as well as their new release, "Curve of her Soul" and support independent music!
