"The Grins" for a long time, have largely been considered as one of America’s best kept musical secrets. Writing and recording nothing but their own brand of Original Rock and Roll music for over the last twenty years, "The Grins" have consistently managed to surprise the unsuspecting listener and audience with their flavorful melody’s and indulging melodic rhythms. And not surprisingly, in the last twenty years, "The Grins" have managed to compile an impressive repertoire of recordings that includes over some 300 original compositions. In general, the tunes in their private musical library collection cover topics ranging from love songs to hate songs from sorrow songs to silly songs; and basically, if a song could be written about, it probably was. While being totally intuitive and original, Grin music is mostly composed of fresh acoustic and electric guitars that are habitually riddled with simple guitar hooks and other ear teasing fills....that more than often! interlace and wrap themselves around the harmony of the lead vocals.... With a rock steady bass and solid drum backing, these mid-American homegrown songs are a pleasure to listen to, but sometimes hard to catagorize. Some call it alternative, some call it rock-a-billy, some call it crazy country, some call it Americana, some call it hop-n-rock, and some just plain call it good; whatever you decide to call it, you can’t call it boring! There is enough going on in this music to please everyone from the musical novice to the lifelong listener. But.... Warning!......There is one thing you must be cautioned of..... many listeners consider Grin Songs to be a form of musical morphine and they just can’t get enough.......Don’t say they didn’t warn you!......As you’ll soon find out for yourself, "The Grins" truly are a Great American Underground Band....
