This is the 2nd CD I have purchased by this artist. He writes music,and sings from his heart. His music is wonderful! I will purchase all of his music, as it comes out.

Sue Schnitzer's new CD, Wiggle and Whirl and Clap and Nap has lots of the same sunny qualities that make her other recordings (Wiggle and Whirl, Boo, Cackle, Trick or Treat) a welcome choice for parents and children. Sue's voice is easy to understand and her young friends that sing along with her are clearly having fun. Even if you don't know the songs to begin with, you're soon singing along yourself. The musical pace slows down as the CD comes to a close, making it a good choice to play before naptime for little ones. Kids love to sing along with Sue.

This cd is remarkable. I recomend it for any Big & Rich fan out there, or for any of the MuzikMafia fans. His lyrics match the music perfectly. Although the cd is rare, and the band is nolonger, it would be well worth it to get a copy. Can't wait till I get his next solo album, Live A Little.

Well all I can say is that this CD is awesome! This is by far some of Big Kenny's best work! It is extremely hard to find, but I am glad I did. LuvjOi is of course Big Kenny's band. He would later depart from the band since the band had little to no success to embark on a solo career which spawned singles such as "Candy Colored Glasses" and a song that was featured on the soundtrack for Hollywood Pictures' "GunShy" called "Under The Sun." Alphin later went on to meet singer/songwriter John Rich (former singer for Lonestar whose solo album is set to be re-released sometime in March) and together the galactic duo created the country "entity" we now know as Big & Rich. This album (along with Big Kenny's "Live A Little") provides an insight into one side of the duo. This CD is sure to appeal to anybody who truly loves Big & Rich's music, but may scare some other straightforward country listeners. In my opinion however, this album is a must have for any Big & Rich fan's collection.

I obtained a copy of this Nashville based band's CD from the local section of a music store after seeing them perform live by happenstance.
This album is far better than that of the average big label band. Production values are excellent, comparable to any nationally released recording and better than many.
The artistic quality of the music itself, however, is definitely better. The musicians are each superb at their instruments and tight with each other. The writing is also high quality. Both lead and rhythm sections are laid over each other in very nearly, if not, perfect balance with plenty of creativity and originality without overdoing anything. Danceable tracks are in some ways reminiscent of disco but definitely rock, not synthetic. "Innocence" sounds almost Beatlesesque.
Lyrics match the music in every way, being profound without being preachy or overreaching. Interestingly, many tracks succeed in being philosophical and message oriented while at the same time having a fun and light appeal.
This record is remarkable. It's a shame that this band has not received more exposure and recognition while so many other, far inferior, artists receive so much. Hearing a band this good really drives home the fact of just how sad the state of today's music industry has become.
I can't imagine many people listening to this record without wanting to "ride the wave of the flow of the electric soul."
If I could give it a higher rating, I would.

This is george howard's first album. It is a very outstanding recording and one of the most prolific recordings of the 1980's. George is my favorite soprano saxophonist. The listener can feel george's spirit in every note that he plays especially on rocket love. Bright eyes is the sleeper song on this project. The preacher was one of the most played songs on the radio in 1982. Once again this is a very good cd. However for this individual selling it at the price of $159:00 is totally ridiculous and absurd. I guess robbery would be the best choice of words.

What a rarity on cd I was lucky to get a copy a couple of years ago.The preacher got alot of airplay on a radio station I used to listen to if you can find one grab it. Highly Recommend!!!

Feldman, a true legend.......2005-12-06

Victor Feldman is one of the absolute finest musicians that has ever lived. His piano playing his great timing and his harmonic sense was far beyond most of his contemporarys. It is so sad that he's no longer with us. But he's left a whole bunch of great albums to listen to, and "Fiesta" is definately one of them. On this one he's teaming up with musicians like Chick Corea, Diane Reeves and Chuck Mangione. Personally I've never liked Chuck Magione's playing and I wish he had picked someone more suitable for this recording date like Chuck Findley, Bobby Shew or maybe Freddie Hubbard. That's why I give it only 4 stars. Otherwise THIS IS A GREAT ALBUM!
