Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Great songs, terrific video.......2005-04-12

"Jesus" is a great single, matched by a spare, but mesmerizing video of Moz in priest regalia walking towards the camera, his band behind him. He's content to just walk and sing now, with few flourishes, and he knows that's fine with us. It's amazing just to stare at that face, troubled and yet content. The two B-sides are subdued and coldly pretty, "Slum Mums" being the more evocative.

4 out of 5 stars There's more rock in the Quarry: Great Single.......2005-02-23

Morrissey of late has gotten his act together in the song writing department and if you found "You are the Quarry" great than this single is a must, although I have forgiven Jesus is on the full album the other two songs "Slum Mums" and "Public Image" are great. These are not your average B side songs they have a mellow feel and are highlighted by Morrissey silky one-of-a-kind voice. They harken back to some of the later Smiths work in style and are truly beautiful. In the one day I have owned this album its been played three times over (its only three songs long but you get the idea). While this is certainly a fan's album it is well worth the 9 dollars.
