An album marking the end of the shoegazing heyday of the early 90’s, and blossoming forth a brilliant band. 8 tracks of sheer sonic bliss; grinding, assaultive, woozy guitars; nearly-inaudible breathy vocals; frenetic drumming very reminiscentof the best of Colm O’Ciosoig (MBV). An underrated and unnoticedmasterpiece. This re-release of Susurrate has been remastered to a new level of sonic brilliance, much unlike the original release which was unfortunately mixed quite badly. However, it now shimmers out of your stereo, slamming you right back into the aural glory of the early 90’s.

if you are into whispering alternating male/female vocals with sonic structured chaotic soundscape, buy this.. perfect companion to your classic My Bloody Valentine's and Ride's. Search the web for the hard-to-find 4 discs boxset which contains the late 90's Eps and this album. the band has since evolved into a more trippy electronic outfit.. think Halou and the more commercial elizabeth frazer's (cocteau twins) Massive Attack.
