Getting better with age........2004-03-30

I remember these guy's back in 1991 as Young Guns then in 1994 as Scarcuscuput, and now as Surf Ballistics with each band they evolve into something better. A must have for anyone that enjoy's band with real talent.

Utter drivel.......2003-01-09

What a piece of derivative garbage. 311 already made this album and made it better years ago. Give up now and focus on the homework, kids. This music is taking to straight to the unemployment line.

This is one of those groups that makes you want to buy ALL their stuff halfway through the disc. When you listen, it makes you say "Damn!" I saw them live and each track sounds just as complex and intense. Danny P doesn't overdub, and he's also the guitarist for Phunk Junkeez now. I can't believe how he can do all of those one-handed solos without missing a note.

I know it can be hard to find their stuff, so grab it now - before you have to be hunting all over ebay to track it down.

I am so glad i found this band. They are cutting edge underground music. Definately not the normal stuff i hear on radio and not another poor independent band. I like this cd better than their first one ( i had to buy both)...a great find!

I was given this CD & it reminds me of 311. I love it. Funky.

The bass on this record is silky smoooth like a hot bucket of crispy. The beats are cool and the guitar melts like butter dripping off a hot bisquit. The vocals are funky fresh with no jive.

Yo this cd sound good. My favorite song is "It's Understood." I was in Amsterdam and I heard this song on the radio and I was like these brothers got it going on youknowhatimsaying! It's got that new sound and the lyrics are kicking k-knowledge.

This is a great band. All the elements are here on this first album. The progressive songwriting takes me back to 2112. The flowing, mystic beats, 80's guitar, and the inspirational lyrics. This cd covers a wide spectrum of musical sounds.

Every song on this CD is impressive. All of the colorful sounds from all of the instruments dazzled me while the grooves kept my head-a-bobbin. I hope to see them in concert. I imagine that they put on a spectacular show.
