For years music fans have embraced Memphis as the home of the Blues. But now, Memphis music is facing a revolution-The Memphis Jones Revolution. This six-piece band is filling clubs with fans that can't get enough of their funky grooves and catchy melodies. They've got the newest sound to come out of Memphis since Rock-n-Roll was born, and Mempho Records is bringing that sound to the rest of us in the band's self-titled debut album.

The efforts put forth on the album have been recognized by The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences' Memphis chapter with Premier Player Award nominations for its producer and sound engineer. The band's live performances have also earned Premier Player nominations for band, male vocalist, keyboardist, and drummer. In the first track, "Keepin' On", the music grabs hold, preparing you for the debut single "Supernatural". The band shows its roots in "The Silver Queen" with guest appearances by Memphis' legendary voices, Reba Russell and Jacquie Johnson. The intensity that this combination brings sets the pace for the rest of the record.
