Just bought this CD on the strength of a song I heard on local radio..."Make It With You"...that I thought was fantastic. This album does not disappoint. Ralfi Pagan has a unique melting-pot style that reflects different types of music, all the while being sincere and heartfelt. A great CD that is mellow, cool, and will beg you to listen a thousand times...well worth the price and if you have friends that hear this guy, they will undoubtedly ask..."WHO IS THIS?!?"...turn them on to him.

This compilation is for those who jones for Ralfi's sultry and groovy voice unimpeded. And if you are like me, his records may have had only one or two jamming cuts. Every cut on this jams. First off, I am glad to whoever compiled this(and it is noted on the cd) did not name GREATEST HITS or some other turn off. The songs collected here bring out the best of Ralfi. Back in the day, he had only two challengers that grooved in both Spanish and English flawlessly: Jimmy Sabater and Joe Bataan. Pete Rodriguez would not let of boogaloo so he does not count. Ralfi simply brought it and took it beyond salsa. His is truly continental and bi-coastal sound, and this cd is truly exemplary of his many influences: rock, pop, soul, etal. I am partial to the soul grooves he remakes, which would strain the falsettos of most singers today. His voice pours into your ears as a perfect glass of wine. Buy at least two copies of this compilation. It is perfect bridge for younger people who clueless about how soul and latin music blended seemlessly 40 years ago.

This is a fantastic album..I just wish there was more and I thank Amazon for taking a chance on this! The sound is great, the lyrics are great, these guys rule! Having been raised in both Puerto Rico and California I am always torn between Caribean sounds and the Mexican..now it's regeton and Chingon. I know there must be other stuff like Chingon out there, I want more! Take a chance, no, it isn't somewhat whitewashed Rodriquez, it has guts and real soul. I like Rodriquez's Chingon too but not as a steady diet.

I was hoping to hear the rockin' spanish flavor of the Robert Rodriguez band Chingon, but what the hell is this?!!!
The Amazon recomendations lead me to this album, and hinde sight
I should have read a little more before buying, but I was too excited to hear more of the Rodriguez Chingon.

Shame on Amazon ... this is not Robert Rodriguez' Chingon, and they should not associate it as such. Though I may not be brown or down, I still like this CD. It's definitely more of narco-corridos meets LA-ghetto-style rap than anything any Robert Rodriguez fan would be expecting (again, thanks to Amazon's incompetence). My grade school Spanish lessons don't help much with the slang, but that doesn't keep me from sweet dreams of a royal purple '64 Impalla with gold wire rims, pneumatic shocks, and a trunk full of subwoofers.

I will tell you this cd is straight garbage. If your buying this cd to look at the girl then hell, its well worth your $15 if you think. Other then that this cd is not any good. The beats are ok, cause of course it the Low Pro beats, but Sancha gets annoying. I personally dont like girl rappers, cause they get annoying with thier whinning voice. The song with Sancho is, he rips it up tight, but the Sancha ruins the song. I have a few predictions why this album came out, listen to her, she and the Low Pro gang must be closer then it appears if you know what I mean. DONT BUY!!!

I don't understand or speak any Spanish, but this is one of my all-time favorite albums. Luis did an outstanding job on this cd. He put so much heartfelt emotion into the ballads. The best tracks for me are "Hasta El Fin", "Ayer", "Hasta Que Me Olvides", "Pensar En Ti" and "Me Niego A Estar Solo". Great stuff!!! I only wish I had an English translation.

Okay, I am huge LM fan and have written several reviews here on Amazon. LM can be seen two ways: The LM that gives us the timeless boleros and the LM who is the pop star. Aries, quite simply, is his best Pop album as of this writing. Two of his most powerful love songs "Hasta el Fin" and "Hasta que me Olvides", the goosebump inducing "Pensar en Ti" are here, as well as get up and dance "Que Nivel de Mujer" (with Tower of Power!).

I been listening to it non stop for a few days now, after going through my CD library. It is so timeless, I can't even tell the music is 11 years old!!

If you are just getting to know Luis Miguel, this album, and the peerless Romance should be your first acquisitions!

About 7 years ago I was listening to the radio changing stations and came across a spanish station with the most beautiful song playing...I listened to it...not knowing what it meant...waited to find out the name and didn't understand it either lol...went to work and sang a few lyrics of the song and someone told me it was Hasta Que Me Olvides by Luis Miguel...I immediatly went and got the album and the WHOLE album was awesome...this is a must get for those who have never listened to spanish music...this man is awesome...has the most beautiful voice

      Solid comedy CD - good enough to recommend. His imitations are very strong, and he has a good comic delivery. Disc 1 is from a standup performance, and it comes across well on the CD. Disc 2 is prank phone calls. Disc 2 is a bit uneven, with some calls being funny as hell and some going far too long.

      Overall a very good set.

      Aries Spears is from MAD TV and without question he was one of the shows stars for the 8 seasons he was on there. This is a two CD set of his Live act and it's one of the funniest CD's I've heard in a long time. Right up there with Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock and the late great Richard Pryor. Aries impressions are some of the best in the business and he spares no one.

      Guys like Dane Cook are burning up the charts right now but this is the guy to watch for next year. He is easily one of the best out there.

        In case you ain't never heard of junebug slim you need to get this cd. He represents the west coast to the fullest. He's the most underated rapper in the game today. Peep the songs "Slippin in the rain", "Midnight", and "Kilifornia"
