"Canopy of Blue" echoes Marianne Kesler's debut album "All the Days of My Life" beautifully, but builds on it and moves beyond it as well. Marianne's soulful folk melodies speak to our lives and our place in a hectic world. "Is Anybody Home" draws attention to the paradox of our technology to communicate and our sometimes inability to communicate in meaningful ways with each other and God. In the musical vein of "Searchlight of Love" from the first album, "I Am" passionately draws attention to the words of Jesus as he responded to his critics, and to the moniker attributed to Jesus as the great I Am. Benjamin's guitar is incredible, and really places this album in a unique mother-son team framework with power and conviction. Her international performances (in the Netherlands and possibly in the UK in the near future) are bound to bring her more radio airplay and a solid fan-base upon which she can spread the Gospel message. This is a great album. Thank you, Marianne and family.
