A Riddim Driven for Skas lovers.......2005-06-08

My blog buddy told me about this cd but I couldn't find in Best Buy, so I surfed for it and got lucky. Like all of the single riddim cds that reggae companies release nowadays this cd is the ska riddim with songs by different artists- only thing- don't blaze up a spliff before you listen to it, you will think you've lost you mind. The Luciano and Meeky cuts are beachworthy fi real. Wi Jammin in the 2005.

CD is for you. The opening riff and beat does not vary or change from one song to the next. Listen to the first 30 seconds of each tune and you have heard the whole CD. How anyone can rate this CD above 1 star is beyond me. I was looking forward to great party music for the summer. I have many reggae and carribean style music. I visit the area often and I was looking forward to something new. I bought this CD on the recommendations on this site. Buyer beware. This is a terrible CD.

More to reggae than just dancehall and Bob Marley.......2005-02-07

My favorite songs are Magic Stuff, Hiding Place, Wash Wash, and Honey Nuh Cry, and Burning Fire. Why am I just now hearing of most of these singers? They are really great and I am looking for more on them. This is a great party record and it goes good with Toot's True Love CD they make a good pair.

Old Time Something Come Back Again...Love Ska Music.......2004-10-29

Skasmatic is the best CD I bought in a long time. Luciano is my favorite artist. His "Wash Away" song on this CD I play over and over. Mikey General, President Brown, and Chrisinti are culture artists I like a lot too. Female singer, Evette's "Feel Like Dancing" gets my kids and I to dance around when I play this CD. Can't stand still with the upbeat vibes. Nice work from the Eight76 Records crew on this CD.

Way..Back!.......2004-07-17

I think this cd is a must...you love reggae, you love real music, then get this cd. I've listened to every track over and over about 50 times already, it's great all together. I loved each track for different reasons, and you will too, I guarantee it. I'm an Artist my self, a popular one at that, so if you can't take my word for it, then whose can you take? Besides all of that, I know one of the artist personally, and she's bad! Get yours, I got 3!
