This record is collection of some of the best music from 2003 from the North Texas region, specifically Denton. The versatility of the compilation is self evident as it crosses genre's boldly from electronic-experimental-pop-goth-math-singer songwriter- rock. The bands selected are in reflection of a show held in Denton over the course of two evenings by the Pyramid Scheme Art-Music Collective to showcase unheard talent from this region of the US. There is a long history of obscure and progressive music from Denton Texas that continues here with the "new breed" of musicians still attempting to push the envelope and get their point across. Inside this record there is definitely something for everyone.
