Robopop Volume One

Editorial Reviews
Q Magazine March 2004 (UK)
features the likes of Laptop and Client replicating the studied boredom of Neil Tennent ...and Depeche Mode...

Record Collector Feb 2004 (UK)
No new-school electroclash pretension here, just 17 pop songs by current indepedent artists ...

Album Description
Since the first wave of electronic pop, in the late seventies/early eighties, advancements in technology have dictated that nowadays almost everything from hip-hop to house, from dub to drum and bass, and from cutting edge dance music to teeny chart pop incorporates elements of electronic music, whether it be through the use of computers, samplers or synths.

Modern electronic pop bands are reclaiming the genre and integrating elements of these other schools, often coupling the new technology with original analogue synthesizer sounds, creating new and exciting musical fusions.
