Awesome song, awesome band.......2000-02-27

I've always loved the Counting Crows, and I definitely think this is the Mr.Jones of Desert Life. This song is all over the radio in my area- this past weekend I heard it 5 times on Y100(100.3 FM Philadelphia). COUNTING CROWS RULE!

This Desert Life.......2000-01-30

Me and my best friend Marco went to go see the Crows in Austin this past Wednesday. It was like a Religious Experience. The new album has the same feeling as the first album. "Hanging Around, Mrs. Potter's Lullaby, St. Robinson & His Cadillac Dreams," are some of the best tracks on wax since "A Long December, & Recovering the Satellites, & A Murder of One." We really enjoy there music and their live performance was well worth the three hour trip to Austin. We can't wait til they come back again!

Blistering songs.......2004-08-25

I havent heard this specific disc either, but have a live version of the shows from SF last December and those tracks are well worth it no matter what version oh Hanging Around is on here. I concur that August and Everything After is beautiful, no matter what Adam said before playing it. Wish they would do a studio version or better yet, play this more often live. Do yourself a favor and find this.

I've heard the songs on the CD. August and Everything After is finally available! It's a wonderful song, and I'm surprised they waited ten years to play it and release it.
