a friend lent me their copy of this cd, and i loved it. the songs "crush" and "spin my wheels" are my favorites. "smw" is upbeat and fun and "crush" is heartbreaking. clever and crafty lyrics, pretty vocals, some upbeat but mostly low-key very listenable pop songs.

i saw tryst at southpaw in december (they played in front of tarantula, an eclectic brooklyn band...), and they blew me away. their songs are combo rock/pop and melodic ballads... they are great live. now i am hooked on the cd, like the first song 'spin my wheels' which is really fun or 'crush' which is so moving. the pretty vocals and lyrics that grow on you are really unique to this group. if you like alternative pop you will like this cd.
