Album Description
"The Humanity EP" (GREN013) takes it one step beyond Shy Child’s anthemic debut album "Please Consider Our Time" (GREN009) when these NYC synth-rock killers surprised the indie world with a mix of 80s analog synth and 70s hard rock – think Kraftwerk meets Neu (with a little Black Sabbath). The meticulous drumming and the thrilling vocal/gui-board melodies are still present but Shy Child now add a dose of intense energy akin to that of other NYC favorites Oneida and The Rapture. This EP is the group’s riveting transition and proves that Shy Child will continue to surprise its listeners.
