Album Description
This release is a collection of Ada de Luque's compositions in a smooth jazz, adult contemporary genre, with a touch of Latin-Caribbean and classical music, encompassing all of her favorite music styles. The lyrics reflect feelings of love, romance, sensuality, joy, and spirituality. Ada has purposely kept her vocal interpretation highly sensual, sultry and soothing, giving a hint of her generous voice only in a few instances, therefore keeping her "summer dreams" sweet. Ada teams up in the arrangements with her good friend and highly talented pianist-arranger Rey Rivera. Their choice of harmonic progressions, modulations and instrumentations shows a perfect blend of their musical tastes. Performing with Ada and lending their talents to this release are some of the best musicians from South Florida: Dr. John Georgini (trumpet/flugle horn), Rey Rivera (piano/keyboards/arrangements), Manny Lopez (guitars), Daniel Berroa (percussion), Greg Diaz (saxophone/flute), Kenny Nieves (guitars), Deya Deynova (cello).
