Album Description
Graham Parker rolled into the Chance Theatre in Poughkeepsie, NY, on September 16, 1983, touring in support of that summer's The Real Macaw. Parker was hitting his creative stride and his popular peak as well. "Life Gets Better" had just entered the radio charts. His albums were gathering critical acclaim and a devoted fan base. Parker's style had developed from a gritty blues/rock singer songwriter to incorporate New Wave elements rounded out with Pop sensibilities. Parker also brought several songs including "You Can't Be Too Strong, " "Local Girls" and Protection, " from his breakout squeezing Out Sparks. 24 bit / 96 kHz DVD-Audio and 24 bit / 48 kHz Dolby Digital 5.1 options Stunning 5.1 surround sound Plays on ALL DVD players
