About the Artist
Laughing Colors began as friends who went to the same school getting together after experiencing life after school. They began in Annapolis, MD, and cultivated a huge following in the Baltimore/DC area through live gigs and the help of a song called "Solution," which was put into heavy rotation on 98 Rock in 1996. Since then Laughing Colors has expanded their fan base and played over 200 shows per year. They currently are playing music full time and working on that elusive hit song. One of the Best Bands I ever ran sound for!!!.......2003-12-23

I had been running sound for about a year for live bands in the Baltimore/Annapolis area and had heard of Laughing Colors but never heard them. It was a festival setting with 10 or so bands. When Colors took the stage, I made my way up next to the stage to watch. I was mesmorized and these guys ROCKED!!! Thier original style and quaility of music is just what rock needed to carry on the vibe of rock n roll.

"The Pattern Seed" is one of those rare albums in which talented musicians are able to focus their collective creative energy to produce a true work of art.

Every song holds its own charm. There are no wasted tracks on this album, though certain songs are more readily accessible than others.

I can only hope that this band makes it big one day, because if they don't it's a loss for people everywhere. Their music is confident, original and undeniably beautiful. They have something special about them - this is no mere local band.

An excellent album. Let's see, comes in at about 51 minutes. Acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, and drums. The drumming is spectacular, keep your ears open on Jigsaw.

Along the lines of DMB and Live, but not quite. Laughing Colors have their own sound.
