From the Front Row Live [Enhanced] [Live]
Editorial Reviews Febuary 16, 2001 finds Marshall Crenshaw playing live and unplugged at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ. The stripped-down set includes bass and accordion backing on several songs. But Crenshaw's energy and immediacy is ever-present. This set captures his best-known work, including "Someday, Someway," "Whenever You're on My Mind" and "Better Back off."

Album Description
Marshall Crenshaw's first professional gig came in the role of John Lennon in the Broadway musical production "Beatlemania." In addition, his personal love for early '50's and 60's rock music and 70's R&B developed a broad palette upon which he built his songwriting craft. Crenshaw's tireles passion brought color to the film world (on soundtracks and onscreen) and the written page alongside a recording carrer that has spanned twenty years and counting.
