Driving the Two-Dimensional Highway [Explicit Lyrics]

Editorial Reviews
Legends 2002
Coldwave cutmasters, Krushed Opiates, has assembled a seventy-plus minute slamdango affair of A plus rump shaking jams .....

Electrogarden, 2002
The album as a whole is so infectious you'll wonder how you ever managed without it!!

Album Description
Floor-smashing, fat beats, rebellious and upbeat -- Driving the 2D Highway is all of this and more, chaos reconstructed. At its heart, the disc is industrial and sometimes nearly trip-hop but with a hard bang and go attitude. Krushed Opiates emerged from a consolidation of artists performing separately who found common ground, brought their electronics and power gear together and plugged up the world. Great reviews and national airplay are the mark of Krushed Opiates -- with a fan base that reaches far and wide.

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Very original hard industrial!!!.......2003-12-22

There isn't one bad song on this CD -- each on stands out in it's own way and it's all very original. From hard dance tracks to industrial/techno with just a hint of rock. One of my favorite CD from last year!!!! Every song grooves and kicks ass at the same time - I can't wait until they put out another disk! Highly recommended.

5 out of 5 stars Sideline Review.......2003-09-03

If unconventional mind-f'in industrial music with balls, beats, grooves and a sense of humour is your cup of tea, Krushed Opiates are the new masters in the genre!! To hell KMFDM & co with their current walls of noise and heavily distorted vox, DSBP found a very talented gang who bring back the right balance between heavy industrial and coldwave melodic tunes. "Driving The Two-Dimensional" is a crazy cocktail of abused and looped (female especially) vocal samples, groovy beats, hip hop rhythmics and technoid synths. A very promising combo that will be welcome with open arms by the crowdy fans of Chemlab, good old KMFDM or yet SWAMP TERRORISTS on a gentler day. Worthy of examination. Get your brain Krushed!!
