About the Artist
Hype Factor mastermind F.J. DeSanto is better known as the lead singer/songwriter/programmer for the Aggression, one of Tinman's longest affiliates. FJ is also featured on recent albums from Acumen Nation and Iron Lung Corporation, and is currently programming the upcoming Chem Lab album. Hype Factor also features vocals from Peter Riley of NYC's retro pop band Saintface.

The Distracted Lover is a bittersweet song cycle; a paean to love, requited and unrequited; and a finely crafted pop masterpiece with hints of new wave, classic electro, and synth.
