Omnipotent Mainframe

Editorial Reviews
About the Artist
Born in the city of Turku, Finland in 1971, Enthronement's Kristian Kouvo grew up in a musical household. His father played in a band called "Quatro" and inspired Kris to follow his dad's musical path. His favorite groups have been FSOL, ORb, Deine Lakaien, and Sidur Rus. Kouvo has been interviewed by european entertainment publications, including "COMO," and his music widely played on "electronica" radio shows worldwide.

Album Description
Omnipotent Mainframe is the new release from Helsinki-based electronica group Enthronement (formerly Enthrone), fronted by keyboard player Kristian Kouvo. Two of the tracks were played for a Millennium-party in the city of Karjaa, when the clock hit 00:00, celebrating the new year and age. According to the artist, "The CD 'Omnipotent Mainframe' is lot about our present state in our world and near future, even a distant future, with possible scenes of independent machine-evolution." The CD has many flavors (all instrumental), with elements of Detroit "techno," trance-electronica, and moody jungle themes. The closing track is a romantic piano piece written for the artist's love interest.
