About the Artist
Connie and Bill have been performing for 71 years. Some of those were concurrent and the last few have even been together. They found a common voice in traditional music where Connie's banjomer, a hybrid of Appalachian dulcimer and banjo, adds a melodic accents to Bill's Carter style flat picking. Our debut album resembles how we sound in concert. The instrumentation is simple. Connie plays either dulcimer or bass. Bill plays mostly guitar or banjo. Some nstrumentals, trading lead and harmony vocals. The album contains four of Connie's original story songs, some traditional, and several cover tunes.
