Editorial Reviews Its a pop album of crafted tones and a beguiling pleasantness that we hope will catch you by surprise.
About the Artist
Ben Gitenstein (Seyomour, the Nesmiths) wrote the album over a year, hidden behind the mic in the back of Brooklyn's smallest bars. For the recording he brought together Emily Cherkin (Rain City Symphony)on violin, Keith Watts (the Freeloderz) on drums, and guitarists Gerry Hundt (Hello Betty, the Push Ponies) and Quinn Raymond (Regional Science Fair).
Album Description
"Memory Still Fresh" is a blend of influences, from Nick-Drake-esque sanguine ballads, to emotionally manipulative power-pop born out of too many hours listening to the Get Up Kids; from one chord dirges, to neck breaking tone shifts resonant of built to spill.
