Viscera v.zero

Editorial Reviews
Gothic Paradise
A well compiled and dynamic compilation presenting lots of new material and great new groups to keep our eyes on.

RhythmUS Network 12/2002
This album started out excellently and built up, introducing great new artists and bringing back the old with perfect union.

Album Description
Viscera v.zero includes contributions from such luminaries as In the Nursery, Attrition, Ikon, Seven Trees, Desiderii Marginis, Sabotage, and No Comment to those you might not of heard of (yet), like artismight, 8kHz-Mono, LeisurHive, Arc Gotic, and Ophelia Burning. Included is a whole slew of previously unreleased and exclusive tracks available only on this CD.

This compilation favors neither industrial nor straight goth, but rather gives a mix of the artists at the forefront of dark music. This is a disc for those venturing for something new.

For the goths there is fresh talent from people like Ophelia Burning, LeisurHive, Arc Gotic, artismight and Remanence. On the industrial side there are exciting tracks from the likes of Lust Murder Box, 8kHz-mono, Morthem Vlade Art and Seven Trees.

This CD is a must for all DJs and music devotees, and stands to become a document of the best that alternative bands have on offer at the start of this century.

Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars great new music.......2002-12-19

Generally I am not a fan of compilations. But while in a record store in Austin, I figured why not? I couldn't find anything else new, the price was good, and I love In the Nursery and Ikon.

So, I have to say the reviewer from Gothic Paradise got it right. There is a lot of great new material and new groups on this disk. And I especially like the fact the compilation gives a mix of tunes without simply sticking to goth, ebm, industrial, etc. Finally someone understands people's tastes are wide spread and a lot of us aren't caught up in forcing ourselves into one style. This is a good purchase if you crave new music.
