FIVEGZ, although new to the NYC music scene, has already begun to captivate audiences with their kinetic live performances and intricate musical arrangements. Born in the fall of 2001 in the artsy-hip Williamsburg, Brooklyn area, FIVEGZ consists of singer-songwriter, Todd Rotondi fronting an eclectic group of international and professionally schooled musicians. Brazilian percussionist and fashion photographer extraordinaire, Adriano Fagundes lathers up a hypnotic pulse for the charismatic Rotondi and supporting trio of New School University alums, bass prodigy Alon Carmelly, rootsy-lead guitarist, Abe Seiferth and the nimble-fingered Hugo Arturi on keys and synthesizer. Their brand of acoustic based rock extends conventional pop-boundaries with a mix of funky, jam driven, electronic soul, and bold, spiritually driven lyrics.
